Los Campeones Gym in Eden Prairie is hands-down one of the best gyms in the Twin Cities. This place has an old-school vibe with modern equipment that’s perfect for anyone serious about getting stronger, building muscle, and pushing themselves. The atmosphere is incredible—there’s a real sense of community here, where people are focused and supportive, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned lifter.
The gym layout is smart, with plenty of free weights, racks, benches, machines, and cardio equipment. They’ve got specialty equipment you won’t find at your typical chain gyms, which makes a big difference if you’re serious about strength training or bodybuilding. The gym is always clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of space, even during peak hours.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. They’re always willing to answer questions or help you learn how to use equipment properly.
Whether you’re into powerlifting, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, or just want a no-nonsense gym with great energy, Los Campeones Eden Prairie is the place to be. I’m so glad I found this spot—highly recommend to anyone looking to take their training to...
Read moreThis gym has a good location and also a solid variety of equipment for whatever your fitness goals are.
However, since the ownership has changed from Vault to Los, the music has gotten unbearably loud. I use Air Pod Pros with noise cancelling and I need to have my own music nearly at 100% to drown out the heavy metal music in the powerlifting room. I’d like to be able to listen to my own music at a normal volume or even be able to listen to a podcast but that’s not really possible with the loud music.

The new owners installed one use disposable wipes that don’t nearly clean the equipment as well as the cloths, and I can’t even wipe the knurling on the barbell with these either.
The employees are kind and welcoming but the deafening music really takes away from a...
Read moreI was enjoying the gym since the transfer for a couple months from Vault Fitness to Los Campeones. The energy was high and music was great for a bit. Is it just me or all of a sudden this month the gym has been low energy? I only come at night when i get off my late shifts from work and the music is close to nothing to at least 10% volume! I only own a pair of headphones but they hurt my head and feel uncomfortable and i prefer to listen to the music the gym has to offer from their speakers. not only that but the playlist they are playing just turned sideways. I keep hearing the song “pump up the jam” every time i walk in. I’m not getting no pump from that.
equipment is nice really high quality tho i’ll give it that
