I moved to the US a year ago and have been looking for my “go to” hairstylist/salon ever since. As many others do, I I turned to groupon as the last resort in my search. After scrolling through the options and reading ALL reviews; Mi Amore Hair studio caught my attention. I noticed that although it didn’t have as many reviews as other places, every single review was extremely positive. I decided quality of reviews is way more important than quantity, and I was done with big salons where I never felt appreciated as a customer.My hair was already damaged, so I was anyways very skeptical that there could be anyone who would make it look healthy again. To my surprise, what I thought would be another trial and error kind of experience, turned into finding an incredible exceptionally talented stylist.

The greatness started from the moment I made my appointment. First thing that stood out was Johana’s willingness to accommodate me for a last-minute appointment. Right at the beginning, Johana took the time to listen to what I wanted and proceeded to advise me on my ideal color, and what was sustainable for the long term–I needed a fresh look but also something that would be easy to handle day-to-day. I was really amazed that her number one priority was my hair’s integrity, instead of doing anything that would cause further damage to it.

The service was outstanding!!! I got exactly what the groupon stated, no hidden costs. At no point did I feel like she was treating me any differently than a regular customer. And to top it all off, Johana also shared some great tips on how to properly care for my hair. Most importantly, all Covid precautions were taken and the private Suite concept, not only feels very exclusive but it also provides the most comfortable/safe environment during these times.

Fast forward to two weeks, and I’m still getting compliments on my hair transformation. I feel grateful to have found an incredibly talented colorist/stylist, Plus my hair has never looked so healthy. I highly recommend Mi Amore Hair Studio- It is the best kept secret in Boca Raton and Johana will forever have my business...

I have never gotten my hair done in a professional salon before. I had been talking about it for months and one day while pulling into my house, I saw Johanas Instagram name on the back of her vehicle. “This is fate” I said to myself. So I reached out to her and made an appointment. I really loved all of her pictures of her work and felt safe going to her salon. The initial process was long and took 6 hours but her patience was astounding. She really cared about my hair and stressed the importance of not damaging it. She explained all of the steps to me and when we were finished, I was absolutely in love!! I felt like a new woman. I went back a couple of months later. We are going from black box dye (which I would do myself) to a nice blonde balayage but she has helped me to understand it is a process and is going to take time to get the look that I want. There is no one else I’d rather go through this process with!! Johana is knowledgeable and truly cares about the overall health...

It is the first time that I go with Johana, I liked the photos of her work and I took a risk, I am very demanding and I do not trust anyone to touch my hair, but I must say that since I met her I felt very comfortable, she listens to you and If she is interested in knowing what you want and advises you that it is better with you, but she does not force you to anything, you decide and you can trust that what you tell her she will do the impossible to made you happy, she is meticulous and takes her time to do a job of quality with your hair, all the treatments are high-end and she gives you very good advice on how to maintain it, it has truly been the best experience of my life, it is the first time that I go with something in mind and I leave exeacy with what I I wanted, I am very happy, and I have received many accessories from my friends, I recommend Johana 100%, I finally found the stylist of my...
