UPDATED 2019: Summer from corporate reached out to me and was extremely pleasant and helpful in addressing some of the issues experienced at this store. Thank you again! Embarrassment of a Store and a stain for Edina area and Twin Cities culture.
Shop here...if you never plan to return any item.
Any thing I or any one I know has attempted to return a product here, it has been worse than trying to cancel a 1990s AOL membership.
It's one thing if they are trying to solve your problem or provide ACTUAL assistance. However, it is another thing when the employees antagonize, make a scene, and verbally berate you for (gasp) considering to return anything to this 3rd rate Men's Warehouse wannabe of a store.
Immediately upon entering and seeing a box of returns (box was closed, so he couldn't even see the content), a middle aged employee with bald/shaved head made a scene so elaborate it would make the most flagrant of sport flops look legit. Despite being with another customer, this employe exclaimed, "JESUS CHRIST! You're going to have to leave that here and go or just wait because I am actually helping PAYING customers right now." What? If I had already spent $1,000+ and return $200; I'm no longer considered a paying customer? Wow...
By the way, after 10 minutes, I never saw this character again. It was not until another employee randomly showed up that I could finally get my return done. Even then...I had to listen and get berated for every item being scanned to return because apparently all returns--regardless of where it was purchased--counts against the store/employee. Again, why is this the customer fault??? Dave couldn't address this adequately, but nevertheless did not change his behavior.
Employees here has always been a joke. It's a surprise how these folks are even still here considering how no one has any interest in providing assistance for customers that already PAID.
No wonder this store is literally next to a Chuck E. Cheese. These fools are a bunch of childish fools that care more about their sales numbers rather than serving the customers. It is unfortunate Men's Warehouse acquired this company for this stain of an organization to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Joseph A Bank store in Edina, Minnesota, while traveling from Washington, D.C., with my father. Our experience was truly remarkable, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by the store manager, Erik Ollila.
From the moment we walked in, Erik greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. It was clear that he was dedicated to ensuring we had the best shopping experience possible. My father was looking for a suitpants for an upcoming event, and Erik took the time to understand our needs and preferences. He patiently guided us through the various options, offering his expert advice on styles and fits that would suit my father perfectly.
What stood out the most was Erik's attention to detail and his commitment to customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our selections. His knowledge of the products was impressive, and he provided helpful insights that made our decision-making process much easier.
Not only did we leave with a fantastic suit, but we also felt valued as customers. Erik’s friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service turned what could have been an ordinary shopping trip into a memorable experience. It’s rare to encounter someone so passionate about their work and so dedicated to their customers.
If you find yourself in Edina, I highly recommend visiting Joseph A Bank and seeking out Erik Ollila. His outstanding service will surely enhance your shopping experience, just as it did for my father and me. Thank you, Erik, for making our trip so...
Read moreAVOID JOS A BANK FOR WEDDING SUITS!!
My husband and I picked Jos A Bank for our wedding suits because we had groomsmen in multiple states and liked their color options best. My husband wanted a custom suit and we picked a matching off-the-rack suit for the groomsmen at $119 with a custom vest at $149. There were so many issues with our experience and I cannot stress this enough for those considering Jos A Bank for your wedding suits.... GO ELSEWHERE. Here are the cliff notes of our experience:
They tried to fit multiple groomsmen in custom suits and charged one $550 instead of $119
Overcharged multiple groomsmen ($220 instead of $119) for their off-the-rack suit even though the account clearly states the price
Argued with my husband about how his suit should fit. They did the same with one of the groomsmen and refused to make certain alterations
Gave two of the groomsmen the wrong shoes
LOST one of the suits but told the groomsmen they would find it until they gave up ONE WEEK before the wedding and had to fit him in a 42 Long. (His jacket went down to his knees!!!)
ALL of the white shirts were 3x too big and could not be worn.
TERRIBLE customer service. Every time we went in the store it was chaos and we were treated like we were an inconvenience to those working.
Wedding orders are just typed into a message box in their system but CLEARLY not all employees read the notes since we had so many issues. They're so unorganized and it only leads to stress and frustration for...
