I went in to the El Centro store on the 7th of March, to buy a gift for my wife for mother's day. I also wanted to take a look at the wedding bands, because I wanted to upgrade the width of my current one. After having it sized with the rep, and a few rings they had on display, I must of gotten tunnel vision and forgot to retrieve my ring at the display case. I didn't realize it until I got home, so I went back to the store to talk to Rosa, which is the Immediate Supervisor at the store and expressed my concern. She looked for it with no success, so we escalated it to Juan, the store manager. He stated that he would check the camera's to see if he could get to the bottom of it, but apparently he left for about 4 days without resolving my issue. I had to call the store back for an update; I later get a call from Rosa saying they pinpointed the rep, that helped me at the initial incident, and that they would interview her on Thursday,. I later call on Friday for an update, and Rosa told me that the rep does not remember me, " go figure" Rosa could not verify if the camera's had been reviewed or not, so I asked her if I could talk to anybody else that could help me. Rosa referred me to the Assistant manager, she had a way better attitude and knowledge than Rosa and Juan combined. The store manager was practically non existent in this matter, he seemed like he could care less. The Assistant manager stated that she needed to escalate the issue, so that usually means getting corporate involved, so I get a call frome Nicole from the Kohls Executive branch notifying me that if I want to review the camera's, I would need a subpoena or a lawyer. Wow! how fast did Kohls escalate from resolving a customer issue to involving a police report or a lawyer. I am very disappointed in the way corporate at Kohls handled this issue, it seems as if they already found something in the camera feed and they're trying to hide it with...
Read moreI usually like Kohl's..... Unfortunately, I spent 45 mins in the lingery department looking for something very specific & trying to find help at the same time which I had NO luck with. I took several sizes & items to the try on room since I was desperate & again, I looked around for help, but none was around so I found an open room & went in. I tried things on & went back out to try again looking for something else & for help & finally found help 20 mins later when someone walked over to jewelry. She was kind enough to scan items for me to check for sizes & then of course I find out they don't even carry my size đ I went with the larger size out of desperation, but I did complain to the nice check out guy who only said he was sorry....I knew it was pointless, but I let him know when he asked if I found everything ok. Aw-well....next time I will just NOT shop in the Valley & I will pre-order online like we are trained to do...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with Kohlâs customer service and how they handled my stolen package dispute. I placed an order worth $800 that was delivered by UPS but stolen from my front door.
When I contacted Kohlâs, they kept giving me the runaround: First, they told me to file a UPS claim â I did. Then, they told me to file a police report â I did. Next, they assured me I would get a refund after completing these steps. Then, they suddenly said they donât reimburse stolen items and refused to refund me.
Even UPS confirmed that Kohlâs should have required a signature for a package of this value but failed to do so. Kohlâs is blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility for its lack of security measures.
This is terrible customer service! Kohlâs misled me, wasted my time, and refused to take responsibility. Beware before ordering expensive...
