i heard of this place back in chicago, so i was excited to hear that it was coming to el paso! the first few times I went, the employees were a bit confused and nervous themselves. however, they seem to be getting the hang of it now! practice makes perfection. the drinks are a hit or miss tbh, they have their good and bad days—one day my drink was cold, and another day it was lukewarm (same order). but the boba balls themselves are always sweet and good. some drinks don’t come with boba though, so you gotta be careful and ask. some drinks also come with ice, which takes up majority of the cup (but you can ask for it off!). their cups are almost always sticky or dripping though, which drives me crazy. they have a paper roll for guests, but maybe napkins would be more efficient?
while I understand the frustration, some of these reviews are being way too harsh, especially since it’s a new business and also, the first and only kung fu tea in el paso.
tldr; overall, the boba is good but their employees are still getting the hang of it as well. there’s room for improvement, but be nice to the workers and always check your order to make sure everything...
Read moreI placed an order online at 5:40, the estimated pick up time was 5:50. When my bf went in to pick it up the cashier said they were working on it. About 20 min later he went up to see what our order’s status was and they told him that they didn’t have an ingredient for one of our drinks. It would’ve been helpful if they had mentioned that sooner. Finally our order was ready and as my bf was walking out they called him back to the counter to switch one of the drinks because they had given him a wrong drink. From the time we placed our order initially to when we finally received our order, almost an hour had passed. While it was busy, it was disorganized, the employees didn’t seem to care that he waited in store for more than half an hour for an online order. The drinks themselves were okay, not worth the...
Read moreWas super excited to try this place! I love boba tea, so I like to give new places a try. I never been before so I looked at the menu & What I assume to be the manager let me know if I needed any questions she could help me out. Very friendly! When I went to order the employee seemed timid and quiet, not so welcoming. I ordered a Thai tea 50% sweet, with boba. My order was placed at 5:59pm and my drink was ready at 6:20pm. Thai tea is originally orange, and this one was white… I tried it and truly was shocked with how badly the quality and taste was!! I have yet to have tasted a bad boba tea in El Paso, but this was definitely my first. The boba itself was not chewy & had a strong bitter taste to it!! The Thai tea tasted nothing like Thai tea.
I will not be...
