CABOOTS — Local services in El Paso

Joey and the Caboot's Crew did a fantastic job designing and building these beauties. I've had several pairs made (elsewhere) and was very specific about what I wanted in terms of toes, colors, heels, leathers, collars, etc. Joey was very communicative as the leathers, colors and designs came together so there were no surprises. I have a really high insteps so custom-made boots make a huge difference in comfort and wearability. These fit and look great! The Caboot's shop - where you go to get measured and pick out designs and leathers and colors - is full of memorabilia of "famous" boots that they have built. Joey made 2 pair of boots for me. The first were full custom taupe lizard with sand suede tops - and pointy toes! (No square toes for me. Personal preference.) They came out fabulous. I have big feet and everything for me is extra sized, and they fit perfectly. Then Caboots sent an email with a special deal on black ostrich boots, again made just for me but not going too far off the custom possibility list - and I got perfection again in about a month, and not for a big pile of cash either. You should treat yourself to a great pair of boots (or three) from this shop. Management must have changed as I am still fighting to get a pair of usable boots that were purchased in 2019 from their website. Looks like they have taken my money and run as they are no longer responding to emails, either.

They have sent me three pairs, none of which were even close to fitting, and I am now out the original cost of these expensive boots plus shipping fees for three different failures.

If you're planning to order online, good luck and buyer beware.

UPDATE: I did get the boots in, finally. I'm kind of upset because I want to be mad, still, but these things fit like a glove for my foot and despite all the problems, I can't fault these boots in any way, shape, or form. They really are...
