I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR from Dick Sporting Goods on 03-26-15. I purchased the 2yr replacement plan at the same time of purchase. It is now 14 months later and I need to file a claim to replace my Fitbit Charge HR. I don't have the original receipt, but I have the order number that shows I purchased the Fitbit Charge HR and the 2yr replacement plan. I physically walked into the Dick's Sporting Goods and talk to the customer service representative and she called there help line and confirmed my purchase. I then called today to get the claim started and all the company is asking for is the receipt. I can not believe that this type of customer service is being allowed at this establishment. Dick's Sporting Goods has shown that they have my information but the warranty is not being processed because I don't have the original receipt. We are in the digital age and if you allow customers to buy things online there is a digital footprint somewhere. I will never purchase another item from Dick's Sporting Goods due to this headache. Be warned and don't let this company and its warranty process get you as...
Read moreDicks is a great store. It eliminates me having to use 3 different company apps to find the newest sports gear. My only compliant is that the last 4 visits not one person has asked us if we need help. I don't know if you have access to my account but you will see that in 3 months I've spent just under 4,000.00. My issue is that I have never, not once had anyone ask me if I need help. I cant say I would have spent alot more BUT I do know that had I found all that i was looking for I most likely would haev spent more. Then we wanted shoes. The gentleman there didn't acknowledge us and there were about 2 dozen people needing help. He had a horrible attitude and it leaves me asking, why work where you are that miserable? They are getting paid to represent your company and to service your clientele so to be foul is unacceptable. Luckily a young lady came in and tried haleping as many people as she could and she did amazing! Props to her. Also, my cashier had an A+++ attitude. So because of them this review wasn't a 1 star review. Our visit was November 12th, 2024...
Read moreThey have a lot of nice things, some things you don't find other places. For the most part though, most of it is overpriced. There are some things that aren't bad at all, and are even better when they have a sale, but some of their items make you raise your eyebrow about. On the good side, their fold-out chairs are inexpensive and better quality than ones I've bought at Academy sports. Their fishing lures can be found cheaper elsewhere and their fishing section is very minute anyway. They're not my first choice when shopping for more fishing gear. I've bought my kids' football and baseball cleats here for very good prices but only because there was a sale. UnderArmor high-top football cleats for $59.99?! Yes! Mouthguards, 3 for $10? Yes! Again though, on sale. If your kid's bike needs some work and you don't know how to do it yourself, there's a counter here for it with not bad prices. They could install a new seat, put a new hose, add a new chain, all of that stuff. They really do have some cool stuff though so check 'em out if you...
