It brings me a lot of joy on days I'm low on money to bring my son's out grown clothes/toys here to trade in for new stuff! Shopping therapy is real! Well tonight, the girl who is always saying 'we gotta keep our lights on', said something that rubbed me the wrong way and I believe and think others would agree she was wrong. As I was shopping I asked how much credit I had left and she told me how much, but said you can spend as much as you want to though! I said yea, I'm just using my credit, I typically just do that. She then said, WELL CAN YOU DO ME A FAVOR AND REFER SOME FRIENDS CAUSE WE DEFINITELY CAN'T KEEP THE STORE RUNNING WITH JUST CREDIT SHOPPERS. I let that sit with me for a moment cause I didn't want something rude to fly out of my mouth. Very Disappointed! Just lost 50 bucks. I moved in the area a little over a year ago and Im happy to support a small businesses. This location was the closes to me when i brought my items in to receive store credit. All of my children are grown now so i didnt need to purchase anything but I thought of using the store credit one day in the future for a babyshower for a friend or family member one day. Well fast forward to now, I just found out that Im going to be a grandma and I thought this would be a great way to use up my $50.00 gift card. I went in and it turns out that my store credit expired just last month. They have a year hold policy and I was not aware that i had a time limit to use it. The rep advised me they let all there customers know when they have an upcoming expiration date but I advised that I dont ever come in because i dont have any small children so I was unaware. I asked if she could speak with the manager on duty to see if there could be a exception since it was just last month that it expired.
