I visited this clothing store for the first time today, and I have to say the store itself was great. There’s a huge variety of clothes, and they offer amazing deals on some really good brands. I was excited to check it out, but unfortunately, my experience was spoiled by very disappointing customer service at the checkout.
The lady at the register, Janice (as her badge said), didn’t greet me when I approached, didn’t ask if I had a loyalty card or if I wanted to sign up, and didn’t say a word during the transaction. I always try to be polite, so I said hello and wished her a good night when I was done, but again, she didn’t even look at me or say anything in return.
What made it worse was that my roommate, who’s American, was treated very differently. She was greeted, asked if she found everything okay, and was offered the loyalty card. Read moreI got a pair of gold earrings for my daughter which tore up immediately that i returned them in less than 24hrs upon my return I had the worst customer service experience from a young lady name Kenya in the jewelry dept. She does not greet you, does not speak and while I was standing there waiting she walked off and went to the front and started working on the reg. I go upfront to get a mgr and tell him about my experience he then comes over to assist she walks back over casually and the mgr is telling her what I said and i interrupted and said she did not forget about me she saw me i was standing right in front of her she said i went to take something upfront and forgot about her!! I needed assistance with a pricing issue, and the manager on duty, Barbra, made the situation unnecessarily difficult. Despite explaining that I was on a tight schedule and needed to catch a flight, she came across as dismissive and unprofessional.
Barbra’s attitude was unnecessarily rude and gave the impression that she was uninterested in helping me. Her demeanor made an already frustrating situation worse, and I was left waiting for over an hour without a resolution.
