As a reviewer, I usually hate leaving bad reviews, but this one I'm sure I'll enjoy this one. This location should be shut down immediately, if they're not already in the process of doing so. When one walks into a new establishment, one expects a few things. Cleanliness, good food and stellar customer service; dress to impress the public. What we walked into was far less. Empty tables with trash on them, ketchup and mustard stained floors and straw wrappers all over. We trudged along. We ordered anyways.
About 10 min later, we got 3 out of the 4 burgers we ordered. After a bite of my extremely greasy burger, I noticed that it was incorrect. No biggie, so when the 4th burger arrived, I simply sent mine off to get fixed. My wife then notices her turkey burger looking quite sad, covered in a mustard/mayo sauce which was quite disgusting. I look over to my 2 daughters and see a look of disgust as well. As I pan back to my wife, she's just attempting to stifle down her first bite, which she fails to do......spitting it into a napkin.
Realizing that this meal isn't going to work out for us, my wife goes to retrieve our $48.20 we spent here and go to dine elsewhere. We throw the burgers away, and the lady at the register hands my wife $10.10. It was at this point that I knew it was best to keep my distance and let her handle it. "Our meal was $48.20," my wife says to the smashburger rep. "For one burger?" she replies..... "Ummm...No, for the full order!"......
Well, I could continue on like this, but I just don't feel like putting this much energy into such a crummy place. Turns out, they can't refund more than $10 without regional/general manager approval. My wife insists, and they get him/her on the phone. After 15 min of arguing, my wife returns to the car with our $48 and change, shaking in anger.
So, to summarize here.....terrible food, terrible customer service and filthy restaurant. This $48 and change will be spent at Red Robin.....where they actually provide good food AND service.

Read moreCame to this location for late lunch with 5 adults and 5 hungry children. I ordered the double BBQ Bacon burger which is listed at $10.99. Everyone else ordered burgers and most of the kids ordered chicken tenders. The chicken tenders came out almost immediately, but the burgers were brought out at different times. I got my burger about 10 minutes after I ordered, the other people in my party received their orders in about 8 minute intervals, with the final burgers being brought out after the kids had finished their tenders.
Anyway, when I bit into my burger, I didn't taste either BBQ sauce or bacon. I lifted the bun to find 3 small poorly cooked bits of bacon and a couple spots of bbq sauce. I brought the burger back up to the lady at the counter and politely told her that my bbq bacon burger was missing both the bbq and bacon.. she stated that she personally made the burger, and that was the standard amount of condiments on the burger, but that she would remake it. I told her that if that was the standard that I would just ask for a refund. She identified herself as the manager Sherell, and in her defense, offered to remake the burger. She was not rude or unpleasant however indifferent at the obvious poor quality of product.
She took a few more orders before she was able to provide a refund. No apologies. The service wasn’t great, the food was subpar at best and took a long time to get and for the quality of the product it was overpriced. The restaurant was not very clean, and the trash cans were full....
Read moreSmash Burger at Sandhills is abysmal. My daughter loves smash burger but for the life of me, I cannot see why. It is overpriced "fast food", with mediocre "fast food" service attitudes, combined with incomplete or inaccurate orders, and average to below-average quality and taste.
Ordering overpriced burgers through an app didn't quite work. When I have to add fries for an extra 3 dollars per order and another 3 dollars per 20oz bottled sodas, only to arrive and find out that the fries were never added.
Staff could have been more helpful as far as reviewing the order when I came to pick it up instead of just handing me a bag and attempting to dismiss me. Once we established the fact that fries were supposed to be ordered and weren't someone could have simply asked me if I would like to order them at the time but that seemed not to cross their minds either. The bottled sodas that I ordered weren't even correct. With so much being wrong at some point either sodas or the missing fries should have just been offered as compensation.
On top of that, the food quality wasn't the greatest. I should have just taken my kids to Red Robins for a great meal, with better service, for roughly the same price...
