We went in for lunch. Me, my mom, my father with spinal stenosis, and my two toddlers ages 4 and 2. The first thing I noticed were the seats. They are metal and small. I bring my sons booster with us everywhere since we go out to lunch daily, and it would not stay on the seat. At the time, I could not find high chairs. They are tucked away in the back. I found them as we were leaving. My father had to use the seat attached to his walker because the seats were too uncomfortable and too small to use his cushion. Second, prices and food. It was $45 for all of us to eat. That was three 11 inch pizzas, a side salad and five drinks. Three of which were fountain drinks. The pizza was chewy. Not crispy. I think they're trying to pass themselves off as brick oven, but it definitely was not. I prefer a crispy pizza. So does the rest of my family. The tomato sauce was also spicy. I couldn't believe it. Who makes spicy tomato sauce for a regular pizza shop? My kids wouldn't touch their pizza. And I'm glad I didn't go with my husband cause he hates anything spicy. My mother enjoyed her salad, and we both agreed the lemonade was delicious despite being a bit overly sweet. Both of my children had to potty while we were there. I should've figured....one stall. So better hope it's not an emergency. Overall I found the place not very kid friendly. It seems to be geared towards working 20 somethings or blue collar workers that have to grab something quick before they head back to the construction site. The pizza was finished very quickly. Almost too quickly. They called our name twice, but I was still busy setting up everybody. The guy then asked if it was our pizza. I said yes. He walked away. He didn't try to bring it to our table, which was in front of the counter where the pizzas sit. Two feet away. So customer service is a bust too. I think it would've been nice had someone been on the floor to help customers since most of us have never visited this place before. Someone to show you where everything is cause you're responsible for everything. Getting your own plates, silverware, drink lids, straws, high chairs....right down to busing the table. Yep took us 10 minutes to bus our table before we could leave with two squirming toddlers. If my review hasn't been clear enough, I'll just flat out say it. We won't be back. I would love another decent restaurant in NE Columbia since we eat out daily, but this isn't it. I'll stick to Pizza Hut or papa John's on the weekends, and my usual weekly trolls like solstice, miyos, sumos, Groucho's, 5 guys,...
Read moreI went into MOD yesterday around 7:15pm. There was no one in line when I ordered, but a couple people waiting on food (no problem) the ordering process went smoothly, I paid and sat down to wait for my name to be called. After about 10 mins, I walked over to see if mine was coming out or how much longer. I watched the young lady drop my pizza. She looked me right in my face and said that was yours wasn’t it. I said yes it was. I waited a few mins and then asked, do I need to get back in line? Or what are we doing about my pizza that was dropped on the floor. She replied “we looked at what was on the floor and remade it” I then asked what about my other pizza, will that be cold while I wait for another pizza to be made. She said it was being kept warm. I waited and observed multiple orders being made wrong. Multiple people being called and the numbers and names didn’t match the orders. Finally my name was called and she handed me a MOD and and mini. I said I didn’t order a MOD I had 2 minis. I ever opened the box (that had my name on it) and it clearly didn’t match the ticket that said Tasha on it. After being in MOD for 30 mins, I finally left. I have a picture of the pizzas that were given to me. I have my receipt of over $50 that was spent yesterday. This is unacceptable on so many levels. The system didn’t work yesterday and I’m disappointed that MOD couldn’t get...
Read moreI came tonight because I was super hungry and was just wanting something fast after a long shift. This girl with long braids and a bad attitude took my order. She didn’t even say hello and immediately said “what do you want”. And when I said three pizzas, one for for myself, one for my husband, and one for tomorrow. SHE SIGHED. As if I personally offended HER. Then begrudgingly she turned around and YELLED for someone to get her some dough. That took about five minutes in itself. As if it couldn’t get any worse it’s as if she couldn’t bare to give me toppings for the pizza I’m paying for. She was putting 3-5 pieces of toppings per pizza which is ridiculous since it’s marketed as “unlimited”. yeah right. When I asked the long braided light skin young lady to put extra she sucked her teeth at me then bent down to change several boxes out in the line in the middle of making my order? After she put my pizzas on the table I went to the register and she looked right at me laughed then proceeded to walk in another room slamming the metal door behind her. I asked the young man cooking what her name was and he said she goes by Jaden. I personally love MOD and am extremely disappointed. I hope to never encounter this...
