Absolutely the worst smoothie king Iāve been in. The ac was broken so the doors was open allowing all the flies in. One girl working diligently to help guest. While her manager plays the back. Line out the door. I order 2 aƧaĆ bowls and smoothie. From my pics you can see my total should have been somewhere in the range of $34 when add in tax. From the charge on my Apple Pay you can see I paid more than that. Here is where the bull jive starts! The young lady behind the counter tells me I owe another $5. I say ok and check my Apple Cash to make sure Iām not tripping. I show the cashier my Apple Cash transaction for $36. She say hold on, let me get my manager. Cool. Out comes the worst representation of smoothie king ever. Sheās loud, rude and wrong. I politely ask for refund. She goes on to tell me I donāt have enough money on my Apple Cash and calls her district manager. All while line is waiting, bugs are flying. She pretends to process a refund and says she has to go to the back. 10 minutes later Richland county police arrive. Looking for an irate customer. Imagine the look on their faces when thereās no irate customer. Needless to say she finally gives me a recipe which shows a refund to card that isnāt mine. So not o lot is the customer service absolutely the worst. That young lady and employees are probably committing fraud....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spend hundreds of dollars each year with smoothie king and being a customer since smoothie king came to the Columbia area this last visit was enough to make me never visit another establishment again. The employee obviously did not appreciate me bringing my smoothie back in to be made which was the very first time Iāve ever done that. Lastly, I was the only customer in the store when I came back after picking up my order. Two more customers came in after and this specific employee proceeded to make these orders before mine. After sitting and waiting for my new drink for 10 min she asked me what my order was again. Never apologized never spoke to me but to be rude. Just placed my order on the counter and walked away. Extremely poor customer service, this is why I stopped visiting the fashion drive location and only went to the summit parkway location. They are absolutely wonderful and my smoothie always tasted the same. This fashion Dr location needs a serious revamp on employees and cleanup in the store. Poor service with nasty attitude employees. I will definitely not be visiting again. I would think that simply asking for a $10 smoothie to be remade wouldnāt cause 1 employee so...

When I arrived, I made the team aware and they decided that they were not going to make it over- just scrape the bananas off the top. I shared with them that - while that may be fine for me; it may not work for people with allergies so, itās best to receive their consent. The staff member informed me that - āthat is what he (another team member) instructed them to do so that is what she will do. Since this business was founded by someone managing allergies- his was a shocking response. This was the fifth and final time that I will overlook issues at this location. The employees were not very pleasant and the response was disappointing. Sadly, there are actually a few wonderful team members working there but they are outweighed by others that are not...
