I took my 3 month old daughter to Claire’s to have her ears pierced. I told the lady 3 times I wanted the baby pearls. Even showed them to her. She pieced her ear with an ADULT pearl. I instantly told her that it was the wrong one and she was very rude and told me that it was fine. It isn’t fine, it was way too long and bigger than her earlobe. So we had to take out that earring and put another baby earring in her ear that wasn’t the pearl I wanted. She told me that they didn’t have the baby pearls in stock. So she knew that they didn’t have them before she even started piecing her ears. The manager was also very rude with me when I called. She told me when they come in I can come pick up the baby pearls. I called a different location and the manager there was in shock because of how they handled the situation at the etown location. My baby was screaming because she was in so much pain when they shoved another earring in her ear. I’m very upset with this location. Don’t bring your child here. They really shouldn’t be piercing infants ears. I know mistakes happen, but this girl was all over the place and didn’t know what she was doing. The manager at the Louisville location told me that I wasn’t the first person to call about this lady. The fact she still has her job blows my mind. Please don’t take your baby to etown Claire’s!!!! My 7 year old daughter decided she wanted her ears pierced yesterday at Claire's. So we went to get it done . Everything was smooth sailing except for the fact the girl could not mark her ears right. That should have been my first clue. Then she kept stopping to talk about everything and had wicked long nails so when she finally got around to piercing her ears she got the gun stuck in my daughters ears. We were horrified. My daughter was traumatized. My mom ended up having to put the back on her earring because the girl Alanah was her name would not stop shaking. To say I was mad would be a complete understatement. When asked if we could have a discount or something since she traumatized my daughter. She said she couldn't do that. But gave us coupons for 20% off for next time and then to add insult to injury she made me wait at the very back of the line to pay. So long story short I will probably never go to...

I’ve had my ears pierced twice here. The experience was absolutely amazing! The same woman pierced me on both occasions. She is knowledgeable at explaining the process and the aftercare. Plus, and this is a HUGE benefit, she is an EXPERT at piercing. Making sure my piercing is even… and super quick!!! As a person who has multiple piercings I appreciate that. She is super friendly, as well as the entire staff I’ve encountered here. I have always been greeted as I walked into the store. I have always asked if I need assistance finding anything.
