We took my sons Xbox to get fixed, after months of waiting for it to get fixed we finally got it back on August 26th. When picking it up we were told that we had a 30 days warranty. After 3 weeks the Xbox broke again with the same issue. I called and spoke to the owner, he told me that the tech was on vacation and that he would be back in a week, I then called a week later and then was told that the techs grandma died. I was told I would receive call when the tech was in. Two weeks later I called again today and was told the tech wasn’t back. At this point I obviously got annoyed and asked about a refund. I was told there was nothing they could do. I got snippy and was hung up. When I called back and told him that I did not appreciate being hung up on I was told “I don’t care what you appreciate, you can kiss my ass is what you can do”
EDIT since the owner wants to lie, i didnt exaggerate, i had the month off as this entire situation is mind blowing, Its honestly disappointing that you took to lying. 1st lie, you "repaired" the xbox once ,we dropped it off to you in early july, it was picked up 8/26 i have the receipt and card statement. That was the one and only time you have touched my sons Xbox. I can provide phone records of how many times i had to call to even get an update on it, when picked up i was told you have 30 days from that date 8/26 if any thing was too happen, on 9/21 i called you, you have had 3 different excuses as to why the tech wasn't there, after a month i frustrated as anyone would be I asked what can be done about a refund, and you told me nothing could be done. OF COURSE i got angry after that. However what i yelled was SOOO you aren't going to do anything about a system that broke under warranty? and you hung up, i then called back and told you I dont appreciate you hanging up with me and you told me you dont care what i appreciate that that I could kiss your ass. I guarantee you record your calls, share the recording? if you are so innocent provide the proof, provide proof of the form you have to sign to drop off being signed by me more then one time? im sure you wont do that too, because it would show how...
   Read more0/5 stars if i could. I do not recommend this business at all! I took my Astro C40 controller in for a simple square button repair since it kept getting stuck. I was then told it would be a 1-2 week wait. I dropped it off and it was ready the next day. When i got it back the case to the controller was not even closed all the way and it would not connect to anything. It was completely messed up. I then took it back to be repaired once again. RICK told me he’d have to send it off to Astro. He never sent it to Astro, instead he calls me to come get it and it works and it’s ready (once again) and still, the same issue. The case was not closed and the controller will not connect. He said it was an software issue and he could not fix it. He did not fix it and also told me good luck with it. I’m positive this business did not want to take ownership for messing up an expensive controller that was mechanically sound besides the square button getting stuck. Rick even lied about contacting Astro, he said he’d send it off but realized Astro does not repair controllers and the only way is to buy a new one off their site! Rick then proceeds to try and give the controller back any way possible to not accept any responsibility.The guy who worked on it even stated he could have corrupted software when he took it apart.    Read moreExtremely helpful staff. I didn't know what my items were worth. The cashier called the owner, and he gave me what I thought to be a generous offer. If it hadn't been for this store, I probably would have just donated the items to Goodwill.
Cashier told me they also have a toy store in the mall, so I am planning on coming back with some vintage toys from when my son was a child. He doesn't want them any longer, and I'm looking forward to the cash. ;) I thought about selling them on ebay, but I really wouldn't make much if I had to pay shipping.
I love that there are local stores like this where you can make some extra cash. Best part is, I used the money from TF Games to buy new perfume at Victoria Secret and body wash from Bath & Body Works, also in the Towne Mall. It doesn't get more convenient than that! I also walked around the mall for about an hour, and I love what they've done with it. They've added a lot of new stores, and I noticed that some are being remodeled, with new stores on the way. This mall has come a long way, and I'm so glad it's still here in Etown. I hate the crowds at Wal-Mart and I don't want to drive to Louisville for every little thing.
