If I could give La Paloma more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. This hidden gem is everything you could ever hope for in a Mexican restaurant — and then some.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The service is genuinely outstanding. The woman taking orders was kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest not only enjoys their meal, but truly experiences it. She checked in with such warmth that it felt like I was being served by family.

Now, onto the food — simply put, it doesn’t get more authentic than this. Every bite tasted like it was crafted with care, tradition, and a whole lot of love. You can taste the difference in everything, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh, vibrant salsas.

One detail that really stood out: the chips are hand-baked in-house, not mass-produced like most places. You can immediately tell — they’re lighter, crispier, and have a flavor you can’t replicate out of a bag. It's little touches like these that show how much pride and attention goes into every single plate they serve.

The food came out quickly but was clearly made fresh to order, and everything was served hot and bursting with flavor. Every dish felt like a personal gift from the kitchen — comforting, honest, and unforgettable.

Great food at a great price! Dont overlook this authentic cozy lunch spot. If you are going down 65 and dont want the gas station fast food blahblahblah this is the place for you! I got the banana leaf wrapped pork tamales combo and it was only $9!!!! In july 2025!!!! Everyone in my party left satisfied and with a smile. The waitress was all smiles and everyone was welcome. The decor was street food themed and it was alright but the real star is the staff and the food! Get your street taco on and walk through that door already...

This place is trash. I asked for a dish with no vegetables, including no onions. I told the waiter that I don’t like vegetables, and she confirmed my order. Whenever I got my food, it had onions in it. I told her and she said I can pick out since they were big enough and that the chicken comes with onions.
