The food was great, the service was above average. I went alone to pick up for my family, ordered at the counter, I was acknowledged by more than one person. I grabbed 1 beer to relax as I waited for our food (taking into account that it takes time for good food to cook. They provided me with 8 containers for salsa! :) There was a moderate amount of people in the restaurant at the time I was there and it literally took 8 minutes from the time I ordered my food to the time it was ready. (See screenshot of timestamps).. They use an app that alerts your phone by text and it was true to the time it said it was ready. The portion sizes are large, the ingredients are fresh. We ordered a steak torta (was huge), ceviche, a 2 taco combo plate, loaded nacho fries, and 2 drinks. A single meal was approximately 15 bucks. Thank you to the cook, food was so good! One of the staff members really stood out for having exceptional customer service skills. I'm very vigilant when out and public, he was expediting this evening..I noticed him asking the cook or other staff if this item was in there or if a to go box could be exchanged due to a small flaw...little things like that. He paid attention to detail, offered a to go drink tray when he seen my hands would have been full etc. made sure I had everything I needed, was very courteous, his name was Christian 🙌👏 .
Just as a side note for those that don't have common sense 😆 This goes for everywhere..Order ahead if you're trying to get food on your lunch break or before a movie, plan for delays in case they happen so you don't have to blame the business, speak up if you think your food is sitting on the TOGO rack, how ironic to find something in your food after eating the entire thing lol and..finally prices EVERYWHERE are going up, do your research...might have something to do with the demand for services after COVID and the CA law that passed raising minimum wage and therfore causing aaallllll the restaurants (including fast food and higher end places) to charge more 🤷♀️ If you can't afford it...stay home... If you can afford the occasional outing, I highly recommend this place, five...

The problem was the service, after traveling all morning a 7hrs drive stop to eat something , so I did walked in waited to be seated, the the owner (I assumed because she has so much money that she gives Rat as kicking customers away) came out from the kitchen as for here or to go, I responded for here. She waits m, then looks at me like I know how they operate. She gets a menu and takes me to a booth, place the Menu on the table, so I took a seat, she is about to walk away and as me if I wanted something to drink, I replayed what do you have, none alcoholic she points to me to between the menu screens and the soda machine, I started reading the menu screens which reads sodas, Aguas frescas, beers, coffee drinks and prices. Aguas frescas have different flavors. She did not offer anything or suggested, I am all confused l, so I understood her message. She dislikes her job and does not care about the customers, I said, "You know what? I better go somewhere else. On my way out, I told her. her service smells awful. Aguas frescos have different flavors she did not suggest any, I look at the machine with lemonade and hibiscus. It is my wonderful experience not to recommend this place. Read moreIt’s been a year since I’ve been here and today they reminded me why I do not come here. They have horrible customer service. The cashier seems like she didn’t care that she put me on hold two different times both for eight minutes.
I wanted to pick up dinner for my family, So I called them on my home to place an order to go so it could be ready for me to head home. The first person put me on hold for eight minutes so I hung up and called back then the lady put me on hold for six minutes.. When I pulled into the parking lot and headed inside there was nobody in line, It was not busy at all and the lady came to the register and asked me what I wanted to order. I told her and showed her that I’ve been on the phone on hold two different times and nobody’s picked up. She picked up their phone and looked at it and my number was on hold. She didn’t seem to even care. Every time I’ve came here. They’ve always given me bad Customer Service and this is just a reminder of why I do not come here.
I’m from the elk Grove Sacramento area and I definitely Would rather take my business to people who actually care. The owner or hiring manager do better when you hire people. Hire people that actually care about their job and people.
Won’t be back and trust me I find better Mexican food at Cilantros, El Jardin, Taqueria
