So we ordered a Large pizza with Peperoni and Bacon and a family sized salad with BB Q chicken wings. We wanted to have 4 thousand island dressings instead of the original 2 dressings and 2 thousand island but they gave us 2 ranch and 2 thousand Island anyway. They said it would take 1 hour and a half to make and deliver which is a long time to wait. We were willing to wait however... as long as the pizza was hot and the cheese was melty gooey good. The guy who gave the food left without asking us to sigh the receipt. I don't know if that is mandatory for credit card orders but that is why there is no document of the order since I immagine the guy never really took a copy of the signed receipts. We open the box and the Pizza was room temperature and the cheese was dark and stiff and super greasy. There were also parts of the crust that were burnt and very thin. It was like eating grease drenched crust and cheese on one side and the other being burnt and very crunchy. The wings we ordered were somewhere between warm and cold. We called to basically complain and we asked for an active supervisor during that time. We did get someone who says they were they only supervisor working. The person refused to give us a replacement and put us on hold and there was a long pause so we hung up and called again becasue we thought we lost connection. We called back and another person answered and it was a different person. We asked for the manager. The person said they were the manager. The person said in the first call said they were the only manager. The person who picked up the phone in the second call sounded different. So at this point we learn that there are two managers on duty. The person asked for the name of the person we spoke to prior. Unfortunately we could not give that information as the previous manager did not stat their name at any point of the call. After requesting a replacement order the person hung up on us. We did not really want a refund. We wanted good service. Pizza is expensive but were indeed willing to pay the price. We even give a tip as well. I don't like the idea of ordering Pizza not knowing what the service is going to be like. Its like the slots with the quality received being so random from poor to fair to somewhat good. This is by far the worst quality we received. I must say I am rather disappointed.
Update: We called again today and it was a huge improvement. The cheese is much more fresh looking and well distributed. It was very hot and I love that! I really wish we got Pizza like this all the time. So I will update the rating to a 4 star. I wish it was this way the first time. I will retain my skepticism. Man if we get more pizza like this I may upgrade this to 5 stars. A 2 dollar tip was given. have a great day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is so chaotic. I order from here at least once a week but it is typically delivery. For some weird reason i picked up last friday and wow what a mistake. So I Order online-easy peasy. 30 mins later go in and can i mention the old-dingy smell from inside... carpet maybe? yuck. Then Im waiting in line and notice that there is a cart next to the salad bar stacked full of salad items in containers, hanging out not chilled or refrigerated. I touched one of the bins to see how long they were there and warm-room temp. They had been there for a while. And yes they were still there 20 mins later btw. So I tell the friendly girl at counter my name and its an online order. She has no idea what order im referring. She then grabs a small box and hands it to me. UMMM I ordered a large pepperoni special, a small cheese, and 3 twists. Ok so again have to tell her my name and what i ordered. She is like a deer in headlights. Then another girl comes up and says ok whats the name?(3rd time a least) then goes to the back by pizza window and asks the man making pizzas standing in front of 4 pizza boxes looking confused. He says i dont have that one. ANOTHER girl comes up and says "what is the name on order?" REALLY... I tell her and she looks it up in the computer in back. Apparently finds it and hands me 3 boxes... at this time I am starved so whatever is in the box i am eating it... knowing what i ordered isnt correct. Ofcourse,,, it was an all meat treo or something with sausage and bacon_YUMMM but not what i wanted. And no olives. They were all nice enough but man who is running that store? Do they drug test? WOW. Pizza was amazing! I will never go in again....

On this particular occasion we were greeted by the staff quite warmly and friendly (which was a change for us at this location). We had eaten at this specific restaurant before and had poor experience with staff and management. But with that being said, we gave the restaurant another chance (because hey, Round Table Pizza is just that dang good). Anyways, the pizza, wings, salad and cinnamon twists were amazing. The icing on the cake were all the smiles and extra helpfulness of the staff (not to just us but everyone in the restaurant). They even said farewells to everyone leaving when they were done. Customer service was a HUGE improvement over our last few experiences at this location. If they keep this up we may just go back to being a weekly customer instead of once every 6 to 12 months. It would be interested to know if others are experiencing a higher quality of customer service at this location too. We're apprehensive to give 5 stars until we've returned a few times to gauge a 100% consistent improvement. But if we were to rate it on this one visit alone, it would have been 5...
