ALDI — Local services in Elk River

We went there with high hopes but were disappointed. We were told they had an excellent organic produce selection but they didn't have anything that we can't get at Cub or Coborns for the same price or cheaper. I wouldn't have written this review just based on that because to each otheir own, if you're not picky about organic I'm sure it's good, what really bugged me was the attitude of the cashier. She didn't smile the whole time or even say "hello" or anything, just seemed very sour like she didn't want to be there which, of course she didn't, but having worked in customer service myself I would never let that show though. I felt like she was rushing me even though there was only one person behind me at the time. If she hated her job so much that tells you something about the place. I also don't understand why you have to deposit a quarter to get a cart, as if $0.25 will stop a cart theif from stealing a cart if that's their intention. I don't know maybe there's a reason, it just seems...

Dear Aldi Management at this location. Please put up a sign for your customers by your berries.

"This is not a sampling buffet. Also, if it comes in a container it's not your job to open all the containers, touch everything and then build your own custom container with your favorite looking fruits, that you were too full to eat"

I know it's a long sign, but I won't be back to this location until you have corrected your gross customer behaviors, who's manners and cleanliness are blatantly lacking. I have see this poor behavior way to often at this location, it's like your breeding bad...

Aldi has THE best grocery store brand food I have ever come across. Almost everything tastes amazing and they always try to have the least ingredients possible.

Our Elk River store has excellent employees, many of them stayed throughout the pandemic. They deserve our thanks for keeping us going.
