Today I went to Culver’s to get a lunch for my son and I. I ordered burgers fries and large cheese curds for us to share. Get all the way home to dine out that we had everything we ordered except the cheese curds. I can safely say this isn’t the first time I’ve had these kind of issues at this location. In fact this is probably about the 5th time this has happened to me, so jokes on me. I called the store and asked to talk to the manager. I asked if they could refund me the money for the curds. She said she couldn’t because they would have to refund the entire order. But the alternative idea she had was to take my name and number and put it on a note so the next time I go back they can make it right… so basically it would be on a Post-it or something and get lost in a few days only to go back there and have to pay for it all over again. I said to her “that system sounds a little too complicated for you guys to do that, let’s just call it a wash and you guys can enjoy the free money”. I also added she needs to get on her staff and making sure orders are right before they go out to customers. But I’m positive that will not change. I always thought McDonalds was the place to go to for poor service and messed up orders. I guess Culver’s is...
Read moreCame through the drive thru at about 8:45 pm last night. Ordered one concrete mixer. Waited in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. Got to the window and the kid asked if I had a burger and cheese curds. "Nope, a concrete mixer." She called another kid over who retook my order and then rushed off to make my mixer. Original drive thru girl walked around looking dazed and doing literally nothing. Then she walked back to the window and asked if I had a pub burger and fries. "No, still just the concrete mixer." She gets handed the concrete mixer by another employee and tries to have it to me. The frozen custard was all over the outside of the cup. I asked her to wipe it off. Then she handed it back, gave me some napkins, and sent me on my way. No apologies for a long wait, messed to order, no "have a good night". From what I could see, there wasn't an employee over the age of 20 and they desperately needed a leader. Where was a manager on a Saturday night? Out of the six kids I saw working, one was hustling and trying to save the day. The rest looked bored. I'm just glad I didn't get food! I'll seriously think twice before...
Read moreGenerally love Culver's and the food here was as expected. Issue was customer service was not typical and not good.
First off the drink area was a disaster, then when associate brought out food I thank him and got a "yup". Third was we where missing a small mixer shake thing.
On our way out I stopped at the counter. Three of the food runners, including the one who dropped off our food, where standing around. Keep in mind there where dirty tables, spills on the carpet, and drink area still a disaster. I stood there about 30 seconds then they turned there backs to me and kept talking.
Finally another cashier came over and I told her what happened. Yes, it was sitting there and instead of a fresh non melted dessert she gave me the old one. Right in the trash on my way out.
As with any business it's all on the managers and employees to make the difference. The Culver's in Cambridge is always 5 stars and you always see a manager person helping and watching, makes the difference. This location never saw anyone outside...
