We were so excited to go eat here for our anniversary but once we sat down things did not turn out the way we planned. We ordered drinks and looked at the menu. The waitress came back for our order, ordered the appetiser first. She came back for our meal order and said it would be a few minutes on the appetiser the kitchen was a little backed up. My husband ordered the Ribeye, they ran out of this, the only other steak selection was the different sized sirloin which neither of us wanted. She gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu and we decided to get our appetiser to go. She came back about 10 minutes later and said that the appetiser would take at least 30 more minutes because of the backup in the kitchen. At this point we decided to cancel the order and pay for our drinks (I had water hubby had a cocktail). She went to get our tab for payment. I felt she should have given us the drink for our troubles. Anyway, we paid and left….I was starving by this point. 40 minutes in our lives we’ll never get back. Scratch this one off of our list. We went and sat upstairs as downstairs was full. A large party pushed all the tables together downstairs and with the flies we didnt want to sit outside. Took a little bit to get our drinks and place order. The sirloin steak and the Philly steak was good. The blt was just ok and I wasn't too crazy about the pizza. It seemed bland and the crust was weird. I wasn't crazy about the fries either. They were different. The service was good. Even upstairs, the server came up and checked on us and was really nice. The salad bar had enough options to build a good salad even though it is small and there was one type of soup to choose from. The prices are about as consistent as everywhere else. This place, the management and owner, is SHADY. If you are not a frequent customer you will be treated as a third class citizen. They apparently don't need new customers because they treat any question, service, and general interaction as though they are repulsed by your existence. They also run some shady behind the bar game where they take your money and if you win they will tell you you can't win because the staff didn't know the rules and they don't have to pay you. I guess if you are a regular you'd be allowed to win the $850 but since we are not we were swindled and asked to leave when we questioned it. ...
