My wife and I could not be more impressed by the wedding floral decoration done by buds & blooms at our wedding. The decoration received so many compliments from our guests and many people simply enjoyed taking photos with those flower arrangements as backgrounds.

Their skill is top-notch, their flowers are of the highest quality, and most importantly they would really put a lot of thoughts into the special requests from her customer. My wife and I had a lot of ideas on the details of the flowers and Lana achieved them all!

As you can see in the first picture, buds & blooms had made us an extremely beautiful and sophisticated cascading bouquet. If you zoom in the picture, you can see that some of the flower pistils were replaced with pearls, which added some shinning texture to the bouquet. Another amazing detail was on the cascade. The cascade was mainly made of hanging ivy, but Lana also fixed stephanotis flowers on the hanging ivy vines so that it looked like as if those white flowers were blooming from the vines. Lana also did a great job distributing those small bell-shaped lilies of the valley flowers around the bouquet so that those cute looking flowers would add another level of details when you look close up.

The wedding arch and the floral decoration of the stairs were amazing. I told Lana that we didn’t want an airy looking arch, and we wanted something more structured. Lana nailed it. She used hardy greeneries to achieve that solid look. If you look closely in the pictures, she also added vines into the arch and the floral arrangement along the stairs to make the whole setup looked as if it was naturally grown at the venue. The final effect was incredibly beautiful and imaginative as if it came right out of a fairy tale.

Unfortunately, the lighting of some of the pictures I posted wasn’t ideal for perceiving the actual brilliance of the arrangements. But you can still see those amazing details and the amount of thoughts buds & bloom had put into their works. Even now, my wife and I could still remember the warmth in our heart when we see the details of Lana’s work on the wedding day. I would highly recommend buds & blooms for your special occasions. If you are considering using a florist in the area, I would say at least give Lana a call. I would really be surprised if I could find another florist who could deliver works at this level at the price buds & blooms is offering.

We used Buds & Blooms NY as our florist for our backyard wedding in late June, and our experience working with Lana and Ben was excellent. We reached out about two months before our wedding date, sending general inspiration and ideas to Lana, letting her know what our budget range for a florist was. Once we had our vision and budget nailed down, Lana invited us into the shop to review what flowers would be available for that time of year, as well as confirm quantities of center pieces, boutonnieres, bouquets, and most importantly a large flower arch that would serve as the focal point of our ceremony. Her event florist, Ben, came by for a site visit a few weeks prior to the event to make sure that the floral arrangement would fit in the area we had specified, as well as to make sure the delivery would go smoothly the day of the event. The day of the wedding went great, with all the floral arrangements being delivered and setup in time for bridal pictures, as well as being arranged on all table settings during our catering setup. Lana did an incredible job of capturing the vision and feel that my wife was looking for. The following day, Ben came by to break down the arch, and pick up the rented center pieces we used, and left the area we were married in exactly as he found it.
