I ordered two items on sale from Jessica Bara, the Donna Feathered Long Sleeve Bodycon Midi Dress in white (āWhite Dressā) and the Hashira High Neck Crystal Flower Long Sleeve Top and Mini Skirt Two Piece Set (āBlack Setā). Each were listed for about $75.
They shipped both items separately. The White Dress arrived first. I opened the bag by pulling it apart rather than cutting it for fear of damaging it. I immediately noticed a rip in the sleeve as well as a black stain on that sleeve. It took days of phone calls, texts, emails, and social media DMs and comments to get a response. I was told they inspected all items before they ship out and that I caused the damage when I opened the package (yet how did I stain the dress when opening?). I was told I could get a refund BUT IF I WANTED TO REBUY THE DRESS, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE (remember, this was a sale item). I was told they would not replace the dress, only refund. I was told it would take ten days for a refund but was ignored on multiple occasions when I asked for a refund confirmation. Finally, I spoke to someone from the social media team and that person was able to send a confirmation (probably day four).
Yesterday I received the Black Set. (The Black Set was supposed to arrive Friday but for some reason Jessica Bara sent it as āsignature requiredā which they did not do for the White Dress, so strange and unnecessary). I filmed myself opening the package for the first time out of fear that if it arrived damaged, I would be accused of doing it myself again. The set looked good and fit well but IT SMELLED LIKE 1000 BUTTHOLES. If Iām being completely serious, the smell was as if Sharpie markers combined with chlorine and dirt (I can literally taste the smell still). Today I dropped it at the dry cleaners to get the smell out and the dry cleaner pointed out that the dry cleaner/care instructions tag was cut off! You could see the jagged cut! I reached out to tell them about the smell and the cut off tag but I highly doubt Iāll ever hear from them again.
FURTHERMORE, I looked up both dresses since buying them, theyāve both been relisted as non-sale items for about $230 each.
I had hoped the White Dress was a was a fluke because they look to have so much great stuff but I have serious doubts and am unwilling to ever try again especially with them yo-yoing prices and having abysmal...

Worst boutique I've ever encountered , from the quality of the clothing to the customer service to the misrepresentation of ALL items on the site (photos are NOT what you receive - they take photos from other sites of well made clothing, post them to sell on the site, then send you cheap "replicas" that aren't even similar patterns or structure etc) to the NO REFUNDS return policY etc.
I have had to return 6 purchases from them now because they refuse to give me a refund and only keep issuing me store credits/ gift cards.
Reasons I've had to return : Two piece set that I received with a ripped hem (photo attached)
Item I received that was the incorrect size of what I ordered
Skirt I received that pattern was completely different than shown in the photos with a black banded waist
Skirt I received that showed a structured zipper waist in photos but came with a cheap stretchy band waist
For all of these items I've had to pay my OWN shipping to return, was not offered refunds, and also had to beg the store for months in countless emails to even provide me the gift card /store credit they are supposed to provide. Had to finally private message them on instagram to get them to provide any response.
This place is an absolute SCAM.
The whole reason they don't offer refunds is because they want to be able to send you DAMAGED or misrepresented items without you being able to get your money...

Upon opening it the lil sparkle beads were all floating in the bag and made a mess all over my bed and floor . As I went to try it on it was an extremely rough and scratchy material and the beads kept shedding. The quality was absolutely awful . Upon contacting them they tell me they only do store credit . Now why would I wanna order from them again after receiving this type of quality? I let them know I was a first time buyer and this was only specifically purchased to wear on my birthday and now needed the money back to rush to my nearest mall to find something else. They didnāt care. Not only did they not care and insisted on store credit they also ignored my emails.. Awful! Donāt do it ! They steal your money! Also after reading if you send an item back to them after the 20 days they will not give you store credit nor will they return the item to you !
