Five Guys — Restaurant in Englewood

Absolutely fantastic! This was my first time coming here (it's right down the road from my work so I'll definitely be coming here more often! The place was clean, the lady who took my order definitely made my day, I wish I would've gotten her name! This pandemic has completely turned everything upside down but the staff at Five Guys made sure they were still giving great service and dishing out fantastic quality food. Today was an extremely hard day for me, COVID put one of my family members from out of state in the ICU and I've been trying to hold back tears all day but the lady at the counter (maybe she was a manager? If not, she should be!) was so nice and did something very special for my first visit there. She had absolutely no idea what I was going through (I didn't share and wasn't even crying or anything so it was a completely random act) but she was patient and kind enough to walk me through the options and the different way Five Guys serves their burgers. The whole experience will have me raving about them for life. Not to mention the food! The fries were delicious and I wasn't even that hungry or had much of an appetite but the burger was so good and perfectly cooked that I ended up eating the whole thing! Which was good, I probably really needed to make sure I ate something. Thank you Five Guys and everyone there for what you do and being the silver lining to this horrible day

Very poor service. I had two doordash orders they purposefully delayed cooking when I complained how slow they were. I told them I would be back in ten minutes and waited in my car. Saw them watching me and laughing. When I came back in in 10 minutes they still had not started the order intentionallt. When I told them I would complain to management they refused to complete both orders. I called my customers and told them whathappened. They said they would not order from five guys again. The girl thatsaidshe wasthe manager was the girl who intentionally delaysmaking both doordash orders. Both her andthe older womanwere very rude to me. They had NO OTHER customers atthetime. The store was empty and no other orders were pending. I have not ever beebeenso rudely treated at a fast food restaurant before. Both orders werwere cancelled. Ireported this to doordash as well. This was the sasacsasacond time they were rude and extremely slow. Both times good over a half hour. The orders were supposed to be ready at 9PM. I lefleft empty handed at 9:40!!!! It's definitely not worth the price. I ordered a Bacon CHEESEBURGER from here for 7$. For that price one would think you get a soda and fries. Nope the smallest fries is $3.50 and a small soda $2.50. Well hopefully that $7 burger is the size of a frisbee. Nope it's the size of a Wendy's double stack, I'm crapping you negative. At least Wendy's Double Stack comes with two beef patties and cost only a dollar. Granted the double stack doesn't come with bacon. So for $7 hopefully this is the tastiest burger ever.... Not really it's your average Burger actually pretty flavorless in my mind. The bacon was so hard I thought it was going to crack my brand new crown. I think glass is softer to chew. I never felt so ripped off in my goddamn life. But hey at least they have free peanuts. I'm getting kind of hungry 2 hours later so I think I'm going to go have a double stack which I recommend you do as well instead of this festering pile of puke that they're trying to pass off...
