Ediger’s staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. I came in to see if they had a particular earring back for a diamond earring my wife needed. As luck would have it, they did have one. However, once an earring back WAS found, I was hit with the price tag of $25. Ok, cool! Seems a little steep, but I'm not gonna argue. It MUST be gold! So, why the 3 star review? Well, upon returning and telling me it was $25 dollars for an earring back, the sales person began telling me about a locking back, whci came with two pair of earring backs, AND was $10 cheaper. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience with Ediger’s was! After two failed prong rebuilds completed by other jewelers, I chose to give Ediger’s a try and I am so sorry that I didn’t make them my first stop. Curt took the time to explain exactly why those rebuilds didn’t hold up and really helped me to understand what he intended to do to make my center stone more secure. The price for the entire repair was very reasonable and he estimated it to take about a week, but I got a call the day after I dropped it off letting me know it was ready for pickup. I needed a repair done to my wedding ring because one of the prongs on my largest diamond had bent and shifted a little and I was afraid of losing the diamond. I took it in to have it looked at (after checking elsewhere and being told that it would have to be shipped off to be repaired). The girl up front was very helpful and friendly. She took it to the back and I stood up front waiting to see what the estimate was going to be.
