IHOP — Restaurant in Enid

I will also be posting this on yelp and google because people need to know what’s going on at this ihop. We were seated and given our menus one of which was the “under 10 dollar” menu plus we noticed several posters that said “kids eat free from 4-10 everyday from the kids menu” so we ordered from the under 10 menu and the waitress couldn’t find the items on her iPad so she asked a manager and the manager said that menu isn’t available on the weekends. It literally says “everyday” on the menu and she gave it to us so the waitress had us pick something else the manager didn’t even have the decency to come out and tell us there self even the waitress agreed with us. So we picked out something else and we ate no problems there. When we checked out the total was 53.89 from ihop #1913. We were standing 2 feet from a poster that said kids eat free from 4-10 and it was about 6:00-6:15 pm and they charged us for everyone of those kids meals. I asked the waitress pointing at the poster “all the kids ate from the kids menu so why are we being charged” to which she replied “I don’t know anything about that, would you sign this and here is the tip info” and she didn’t know how to print a receipt so guess what no receipt. We were all tired from traveling and yard work all day so we just paid and left. I told my wife about what they did and she was mad. I am a teacher so we don’t have a lot of money, I teach in a low income school so a lot of people depend on ihop honoring there sales posters. There’s a lot of family’s that could use that extra money and to advertise it like that to get people in and then they get the bill and you charge them for something you say would be free is wrong to...

It doesn't matter if the restaurant is full or if there are only two diners, it'll take 15 minutes to get seated. After that, another 20 minutes until one of the servers approaches your table to take your drink order. When they come back with your drinks, after another 10 minutes, they'll gladly take your order...if you were given menus to look at. They'll whisk off to the kitchen to get your delicious food prepared by the one and only chef on duty (that's usually one of the multitasking-waitstaff, as well). If you're lucky, your server will return with your food in roughly one hour. During this waiting period, you can make bets as to whether or not your order will be correct. SPOILER ALERT: Whomever bets that it'll be incorrect, will be cashing in! You'll also want to request a drink refill at this time, as you won't ever have another chance to do so before your ticket is brought to your table. Sometimes, they'll surprise you and want you to pay for your top notch dining experience before you even get your meal! Man, talk about proficiency! If the above doesn't get your rocks off, then the ambiance will! They pump in the smell of fresh sewage by placing fans near the restrooms! Why, you ask? Well, that's because the environmental controls don't work! Woot! As you bask in this aroma and develop swamp butt, you may catch a drop or two (or 3,472 (we counted)) of moisture on your head from the failed AC system! Where do I start!? These Pictures show that our order should've been done by 10:33 pm. I got to the location around 10:40 pm expecting that I'll pick up the food and go. A waitress asked me about the online order, I said yes that's me. The food wasn't ready at all, she said. Then I asked when will it be done? The waitress went on to ask the cook and the cook said "I don't know!" in a mean tone. The waitress looked over to me and said it'll be about 20 minutes. I looked around the restaurant and only 2 people occupied a booth and a couple standing across me by the front door. About 15 minutes later they walked out. Nearly 45 minutes of me sitting near the entrance, the waitress walks up to me laughing. She stated that the cook did not see my order online. And I said, but y'all asked me about the order online earlier. She said well I don't know. Seems to me there is a lot of I Don't Know going around that place lol. If you asked me for my honest opinion about IHOP being a good restaurant, my reply will always be "I DON'T KNOW".. I left the location 11:30 pm.

1/20/2025 Another one: Left my steak and ate my wife’s food instead. My steak has a really weird smell, no lie. My wife lost her appetite because of the smell.
