Definitely zero stars after this experience. We paid for same day delivery of a bed. We get a call today stating they were unable to deliver as promised but could schedule for delivery a couple days from now. Not a big deal but I asked for my $100 back for the delivery today. Guy tells me there is no refund and same day delivery does not exist. I questioned this and was adamant that was what the site said and had screenshots to prove it. Delivery guy laughed at me and told me he would no longer be delivering my furniture at all then hung up. I called Big Lots and they stated they would not return my $100 but could cancel the order instead. They claimed they cannot even contact the 3rd party delivery people because they have no contact info for them. I find that odd. Read moreOn Friday November 17th my husband myself and our daughter Sam visited BigLots and Ephrata Pennsylvania with the intention on buying a new couch. We arrived at Big Lots approximately around 7:30 look at the Christmas decorations and then proceeded to go to the furniture section. We spent approximately one hour in the furniture section, for the entire hour we did not see a sales associate nor did one come to ask if we needed help. Approximately at 9 p.m. a sales associate comes out of the blue to ask if we need help and as we proceed to tell her that we are here to purchase a couch, A light goes out in the store, and she sais yes we are closing, you will have to come back tomorrow. We will not be buying our sofa from Big Lots in Ephrata Pennsylvania nor will I ever return...
Read moreI come here often and I have to say the cashiers and management are very unhappy and seem to dislike their jobs very much. I just watched a lady return something and ask if she could get a gift card with the money on it...the cashier called for management because she said they didnt have any cards up front. The manager came up and made the lady returning her item find the card she purchased the item with so they could put it back on that card! The lady went through like 7 cards to find the right one. She refused to give her a gift card. And the manager was highly annoyed that she had to do it. Then I get to the register. No hello. No nothing. Rings me up...never says thank you...ignored me the whole time. Always this kind of customer service when...
