Wild Wings Pizza & Things — Restaurant in Ephrata

One star for FAIL... because I can't give 0. First off, I knew this wasn't going to go well when the person at the counter couldn't make heads or tails out of a question about the menu. But, I pushed on as she struggled in hopes that delivering one pizza at a specific time would not be that daunting of a task. You had one job, Wild Wings, and you failed. I ordered one pizza to be delivered to a landmark location in the town you operate in at a specific time: 4:00; gave you the name (even though the counter person said she didn't need one) and phone number of the person who would be receiving the pizza; paid for the pizza and even tipped the driver ahead of time. I guess all of this was too much to ask. Now I know. The driver called the person getting the pizza at 4:02. The person missed the call. The person was waiting at the location. The driver left for another "close by" delivery, said the person who I spoke with when I called to find out where the pizza was. Pizza finally got delivered, so I guess you deserve that 1 star after all. I'll pay more, but next time I'm going with Papa John's.

EDIT: To your response of "The delivery was difficult as there were 200+ people on site. The driver called us at the store to let us know, the driver was instructed to go to their other delivery. We did everything we could at the time to deliver your order promptly." That's pretty bold. When I called the store to inquire where the pizza was the person I spoke with said the driver called and said no one was there and that he was "close by" at another delivery. That upset me, I remember. Because I knew, in fact, there was someone there; I was the one who said there were probably about 200 people there....

If you want wings that aren’t small and have some chicken on them go and order your food from somewhere else. I’ve ordered wings numerous times from Wildwings, The first time I ordered the wings, I couldn’t believe they were actually selling these and charging full price, the wings surely don’t add up in size for the amount they charge. I gave Wildwings the benefit of doubt because I thought maybe they were running low and I just happened to get what they wouldn’t sell to other customers first. I was wrong as I tried them two more times after that. To my disappointment the results were the same when I opened my containers. I enjoy eating wings and to be honest I’ve never seen wings so small. I am prior military and have eaten wings in foreign countries and numerous places in the Caribbean and throughout the states, again I’ve never seen someplace that thinks or sells the wings as being adequate sized and portion, after my third order of wings that I had ordered and picked up I got home and opened the container and called, to speak to the on duty manager, to address my concerns that I feel like they are selling wings that aren’t adequate in size and they are ripping off their customers. My family and I have frequented this establishment on and off for years. Over these past several years it's obviously undergone some changes, but all in all, it's been a consistently great spot to grab some wings or a sub.

As of late, I've seen quite a few negative reviews, and I wanted to counter some of this negativity with our own positive and recent personal experiences.

The wings have been and continue to be delicious, the best in the area; plus, the blue cheese is actually real and not Ken's brand out of a packet. We ordered two muffaletta style sandwiches tonight and they were fantastic. Moreover, the meat used in the steak appeared to be shaved ribeye and was better than most sandwiches I've had the opportunity to partake in outside of Philadelphia. And finally, did I mention that the wings are scrumptious, great for gatherings, large and small, COVID or no COVID.
