Wok N Roll — Restaurant in Ephrata

This was my first and last visit to Wok N Roll. I mentioned I am a vegetarian to the woman working there who showed some menu options and explained this dish in the photo. She said it had tofu, peas, carrots and brown sauce. She asked if I liked all that and I said sure, it's a pretty regular dish. What I got was a bowl full of sauce with soft tofu and imitation crab meat. Why did they add imitation crab meat and so much sauce? Imagine if you ordered a common meat dish like General Tso's chicken and they decided to throw in some imitation crab meat. It doesn't make sense. And when would you ever add so much sauce to a dish? In case you're not familiar with tofu almost all places use extra firm not soft. So between the soft tofu, imitation crab meat, the ridiculous amount of sauce, and the not very exciting flavor I won't eat...

Food here is worth every dollar. General Tso's chicken is great, but if you're looking for the best fried rice in Ephrata hit this place and forget the others. It looks on point to what it should, veggies in it are fresh and look appealing scattered throughout the dish, Chicken and pork that are in either are delicious. Actually have just ordered the pork fried rice and have been absolutely satisfied with it alone.

If you're not ordering and dinning in, I wouldn't suggest to bring a huge group. It's a bit small for what it is, and I don't think it's fully recovered from the impact COVID had around here. I can however say that if you're looking to take a date night with your wife or husband and you're looking to keep it simple by all means go here. Service is excellent. This was literally the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The bourbon chicken was dry, the sweet and sour chicken was dry. The rice was okay, not the best. The egg rolls were so salty we threw them out, they were not fit for consumption, same with the pizza roll. The noodles tasted like they poured liquid smoke in it, they tasted like the smell of a fireplace. Ordered online, but the delivery was slow, driver was very friendly and courteous. They wrote a note on the order to include my phone number next time, but there was no place to fill it in online, and had no idea they wanted it. If you're thinking about going there, please do yourself a favor and don't, you will regret it. My stomach is about to explode right now...
