The Eicher Arts Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! The grounds are beautiful & well kept, and the building itself needs very little decor as it is beautiful. We held our ceremony outside in the grassy "yard" space...we were concerned because of recent rain and it being too muddy, but the coordinator, Jimmy, did what he could to make the space usable. He even had large fans in the yard the days leading up to the wedding trying to dry the ceremony space! We were able to use it & let me tell you, it was perfect! Great amount of space for guests and to decorate how you want. The inside of the building for the reception was great...a little on the small side, but for us, that was perfect. It is decorated with some white lights & tulle, which gives it a great ambiance. We had to add little decor, other than on our tables, and it looked beautiful! The venue has a full kitchen, which our caterers loved & plenty of space for the DJ on the deck! Overall, we couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding...with its rustic charm & overall beauty, it was the icing on the cake for our day! Plus, the price is hard to beat for what you get & what is included!

This is a lovely historic building used for small community and private events. We have heard a woman's acappella group, Celtic music, folk music, and more. The acoustics are very good, but the seating is limited, so go early to have a preferred seat. In the warmer months, they have events outside, which helps greatly with seating. In June, there is an annual Sundae day with hot dogs, chips, drink, and ice cream with toppings for a donation. They had face painting, balloon art, a puppet show, and great Celtic musicians. The Eicher Arts Center is a great place to relax and enjoy good, wholesome, family entertainment.

The Joe Lerman Band (pop, country cover band) opened the Eicher Center's concert series on Friday, Feb. 9. Fun group. 2 free beverages from bar, hot food by donation. Enjoyed evening in attractive, historic venue. Photos shows an example its wood interior & the band. Two-hour concert with all the fixings for $10 cover charge. Recommend concert series.

My husband and I got married at the Eicher Arts Center October 8th 2016 almost a year ago now! I am a procrastinator obviously! But I wanted to make sure I gave this place a review it deserves! First let me start off by saying Jimmy the owner is honestly one of the friendliest people I've ever met! Him and his wife do all the cleaning and grounds keep and they do such a fantastic job! The place has a beautiful rustic barn like feel to it, it's absolutely beautiful! The outside deck is where we had the dj and dancing and it was seriously wonderful! We got married outside and even in October when nothing is really blooming he makes the plants and grass and everything look stunning! Also the park behind the building was great for taking photos as well! We had the reception inside and he lets you decorate the place as you like and he even surprised me with these beautiful lights! It looked magical! He gave me all his contact numbers so I was always able to get a hold of him and unfortunately around that time his wife had a fall and was unable to do as much as she normally was so he not only had to take care of everything in the building and outside but he had to take care of his wife as well and still was able to go above and beyond for me! The day before my wedding Jimmy fell ill with bronchitis...let me tell you that did not stop him from making damn sure everything was how it needed to be and made sure I was taken care of! I can't thank him enough for the hospitality and pure kindness he showed me! My wedding day was absolutely perfect! I'm a big Disney freak so I don't say those words lightly! It was like a fairytale and he was a huge contributor in making sure it was nothing less than perfection! I am not from the Ephrata area so I heard about them from a friend who also had her wedding there and she had nothing but wonderful things to say so I went and visited and there was no need to go look at any other place! It was the only place I looked at and fell in love! I had around 60 guests it fits 80 comfortably so it is for a more intimate wedding. The price is unbeatable and the kindness you get is just the icing on the cake! I will definitely be going back for aby other events i may have in the future, and I would most definitely recommend this...

We threw my sister's bridal shower at the Eicher Center today. I'll start off by saying that the location is beautiful and the pricing was wonderful. HOWEVER, the experience was largely negatively impacted by the current coordinator, Jimmy. Fifteen minutes into the event beginning, he showed up in scuzzy clothing, walked straight into the venue and event, and began helping hismelf to the food we had made and put out. We hadnt even invited the guests to partake yet and he was going around the room, grabbing food with his hands and feeding himself. He further made several of our young female guests feel uncomfortable by making some inappropriate comments to them over the next few minutes. After the event finished, he showed up while we still had multiple guests there, a good hour early, and monitored and stood in the way while we cleaned up, continuing to eat our food. A few minutes later, in the kitchen, he told my sister-in-law that he's looking for young, single women to date. The event was lovely, the space is gorgeous, but Jimmy being involved completely ruined the atmosphere. His behavior is hugely unprofessional, inappropriate, and uncalled for. We will not be hosting...
