The Mad Moose — Local services in Estes Park

I love the product in this store, love walking around and looking. I’ve bought a few things in this store over the past few years. But the other day the taller, chunky gray haired lady wearing glasses couldn’t give me the time of day. She was too busy scanning her phone and then moved on to slurping her soup at the counter to pay much attention to the patrons of the store. I was going to purchase something but decided I could spend my money somewhere else. Attitude change needed instore.

Per the owners request I was in your store 9/13/23 approximately 10:00-10:30 when I had the above situation happen. I appreciate the owner reaching out to me, it says much for the store. I do love what you carry, love browsing and picking out just the right souvenir to bring home. I look forward to shopping...

The place is great but the reason for giving 2 starts is because of the service that we experienced at the gift shop. I was looking at one of the sculptures at the store and accidentally it fell down and got damaged. Immediately the person at the register started billing it for me while I’m still asking him if he can help me fixing it or at least let me know if that can be fixed using some glue. Unfortunately with very rude attitude he was not even willing to answer me. After buying that and checking it out later realized that he didn’t even give us all the broken parts of the sculpture. Such an awful behavior and people need not be that rude towards others....

We stopped by to grab some stuff at the country market which is right next door, and decided to stop in. I usually don't take the time to do google reviews, but I promised one lady in particular (Estes Park Local) by the name of HOLLY that I would, so here I am. She was a sweet lady who suggested a lot of places for us to see, and we sure did go after all of them and they were great. Although we didn't purchase anything from this store, meeting her was out of the ordinary. Such a beautiful soul! Holly if you ever see this, Michelle and Nour (from Syria)...
