This review is solely based on my experience with one Worldmark Estus Park front desk employee and 2 Wyndham Extra Holiday employees prior to my stay scheduled for August, 30th 2018
Upon reviewing the site and information for hotel rooms at this location it shows the 2 bedroom units as coming with either 2 twin beds or one Queen in the 2nd bedroom. I reserved the 2 bedroom unit for 2 nights, and specifically requested a Queen in the 2nd bedroom.
Upon receiving my confirmation it was clear that they had reserved it for 2 twin beds. I emailed WEH to ask them again if I could please have a Queen. I never received a response to this email until after I spoke with them by phone. When I spoke with the 1st person at WEH she told me that they could not guarantee any of my requests but that I should call and speak with the front desk at the hotel and that they could help me with my request. I called the hotel and spoke with a very disinterested and rudish gentleman on August the 24th at 11:00 a.m.. He was not helpful in the least, told me he was unable to help me in any manner shape or form, and that that was the breaks for not being an owner and dealing with a 3rd party company to book rooms. He indicated that anyone booking a room through this "3rd party" company would only ever get to 2 twin beds and never get a Queen in the 2nd bedroom.
I call WEH back and spoke to a second employee who said that she apologized for my situation but that there was nothing that she could do to help me. When I tried to explain my dilemma and the inaccuracy of the information on their website she told me that that was beyond her control and that there was nothing that she could do for me. She actually looked up the site and confirmed it did mention a queen in the 2nd bedroom.
At this time properties for rent with 2 bedrooms are practically non existent because it is so close to our date of arrival. A twin bed is really not going to work for the gentleman that it was intended for, so I am not sure what we can do. I am deeply distressed at having to spend over $500 for 2 nights in a place where I cannot even dictate my request. In addition I now find that they charge for Internet per day per device and that the service is spotty at best. If I had known this I would never have booked there to begin with.
I would steer clear of this place because they do not care about...
Read moreMy family and I went to Estes Park, Colorado for a vacation. The scenary was absolutely beautiful. The reason I gave four stars is because when we arrived our room wasn't ready. However, we did arrive an hour early. We went and wasted some time. We actually came back 2hours later with groceries and our room still wasn't finished. We checked in about 6pm. They let us use their refrigerator for our food. So needles to say they didin't give a very good first impression. ON a good note, the place provided a lot of space for 7 people, even with a few more there would still be enough space. The kitchen came with everything you needed from complete dishe set, cook ware, and a few spices if you needed them. The eating area was spacicous as well as the living room. The 3 bedrooms definately had a great amount of closet and drawer space. The washing machine and dryer was a plus (less packing), if you don't mind washing clothes. There were two bathrooms which came in handy especially with 7 people. The grounds were kept nice and clean and we even had a few animals around. The pool area was nice, they have three hot tubs spread out around the grounds and if you want to BBQ then you will see the grills throughout the grounds as well. It gets a little cool at night but that's ok because they have a fireplace. We had the luxury of being right near the workout and game room. Don't look for anything to fancy but it'll do the job. I was a little disappointed with the game room. The kids were not excited at all. That should be redone. All in all it was a great visit the locations was awesome. There are shops near by and a little place for the kids to do go carting, miniature golf, rope climbing, a movie theater, supermarket and if you are a coffee drinker, StarBucks is everywhere. You must see the Rocky Mountains, may I suggest a truck when you are exploring them.Have and I hope this will help on making your...

Location: This place is located along the river. It has few benches long the river within their property. The view and feel of this place is cabin like and very pleasant.
This place is also located like 6 miles from the RMNP Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, which makes it very convenient to access the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Also...lik 0.5 miles from the Aerial Tramway 🚡 and 2/3 miles from the hustling and bustling Estes Park town.
Stay: We lived in 2 bedroom 2 bath apt. It was cosy and we'll kept. They had provided towels, napkins, soaps, hair blow drier, etc. It also had a washer & dryer in the bathroom (not the master bathroom).
The kitchen was fully equipped. It had small and big plates, all sort of silverware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. It also had a dishwasher. All appliances were stainless steel and in great condition.
You can get lot of stuff from the reception.
You can get fresh towels on exchange bases. Take your used towels from the rented apt. and get the fresh towels and napkins.
Free stuff: they have a pretty big list of board games that you can borrow from them for free. Make sure you return them. Also they provide other free stuff upon request. Stuff like toothpaste, toothbrush, soaps, lotions, creams, razors, etc. (Checked the picture I have attached for the complete list). I think they also have some books.
Paid Stuff: You can rent...
