Killer Burger Oakway — Restaurant in Eugene

Very inconsistent. Started getting sauce on the side because they drenched the burger in sauce. The manager gave me a card for a free burger because he saw how bad it was. Sauce was all over the paper wrapper and dripping from the burger. It was virtually inedible. That happened multiple times until I started ordering sauce on the side. Also depending on which cook is working, the burger is either burnt, overcooked and tough or barely done and falling apart. Fries also are hit or miss, either cold or overcooked. Stopped going for a while. Tried it again and asked for a normal amount of sauce because of my past experiences and they barely put sauce on it. Literally a dot or two of sauce on the bun. Tried it one last time last night. Only sauce I asked for on the burger was mustard which covered the top and bottom buns and was dripping off the burger and was all over the paper wrapper. Like I said, virtually inedible. I ate it though cuz it cost $20 and now I regret it. I woke up in the middle of the night and got violently sick. Never again. Tried talking to a manager to bring it to their attention but that didn't seem to do any good. I think the cooks dont seem to care very much frankly. Either way you won't be getting my business again. Management seems to only respond to positive reviews and doesn't acknowledge valid criticisms of their restaurant. I wanted to try this joint because I was in the mood for veg junk food, and they have a vegan veggie burger which I appreciate in an otherwise heavily loaded meat establishment. However the good stops there as I must say that this place charges you premium price for McDonalds quality burgers. The buns are just like that sorry wonder bread, ultra refined McDonalds bun, with bagged shredded and wilted iceberg lettuce and just bottom quality produce. I paid over $16 for a veggie burger and hard cold fries with pretzel salt, which by the way, any fast food joint’s fries are better then this place. Another thing to note is that there was no line, no other customers before or after me and my order to go still took over 20 minutes to be finished, and they didn’t even provide ketchup in the bag. SO not impressed by any facet of this establishment, and they should match their premium prices with premium quality food, and speedier...

I went in to pick up an order that I placed online. I was on the phone in a meeting and wasn’t able to ask or check in on my order. After waiting a few minutes an employee came and checked on me. I told her that I was waiting for my order and she went and checked on it for me. She comes back and was very apologetic saying that someone must’ve taken my order and that they would get on mine right away. I was fine with that as an answer and was happy they were going to prioritize it. Then a young kid comes over and hands me two free burger coupons. When I tried to tell him that it wasn’t necessary, he also said that he refunded my order. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. Everyone there was so friendly and they were authentically apologetic.
