Eureka Charcuterie — Local services in Eureka Springs

In Eureka Springs this past weekend and found this incredible salami/cheese shop. What a fantastic place! They actually make their own salamis in-house (I think he said they rotate like 30 different flavors) and had 7 different ones available for tasting. We liked all of them but took home the F-ing Hot and the Cacciatore. Both are delicious. The hot one hits you good at first but doesn’t linger at all. It pairs great with a hunk of cheddar and drizzle of honey. The Cacciatore is as good as it gets. The perfect addition to any cheese board.

They also happen to stock some of my fiancé and i’s absolute favorite cheese ever - Milton’s Prairie Breeze cheddar. Our local cheese shop in Houston carries it but I didn’t realize Milton had other types/ flavors of cheese too. Eureka Charcuterie carries several of them as well as other great cheeses too! We got the Milton’s Caramelized Onion Cheddar, a smoked apple jack cheddar (forgot the maker), and a Smoked American cheese. Again, all were great!

Scott, the mad scientist behind it all, and the lady behind the register (sorry we didn’t catch your name!) were just awesome! They spent time to talk to us about the products, gave us a tasting of salami and provided many helpful tips about the town and ideas for hosting our wedding here. I cannot recommend this...

As a lifelong foodie with 13 years cooking experience, I recommend Eureka Charcuterie to everyone who comes to town. I only like homegrown or locally sourced, handmade, impeccably seasoned whole foods & Scott's is painstakingly perfect.

Working across the street from him, I admired his consistently sparkling shop & kitchen, and his tireless kindness & accommodation to his customers. The research, dedication & immense effort he puts into his craft is obvious- I'm not surprised he began making his own sausages, he wanted the best.

If you happen to be in town when a batch of his spreadable sausage is available (and you beat us locals to it!), I recommend snatching it up asap. On his bite-sized toasts with basil & gruyere, it's better than pizza, promise. Call ahead & he'll make you a beautiful custom charcuterie box, excellent for picnics, parties & surprising your loved one with a quiet night back at the room.

My gf and I went there last week, it was one of our last stops before we left town and dare I say, it left a delicious taste in our mouths. What a beautiful exit to a beautiful town. The owner talked us through the meats and the cheeses like a professional cool guy, he showed us his mother's beautiful glass creations, and to top it off he was just a chill and cheery guy.

We ended up getting tomato garlic cheese, we mixed it with spaghetti ( made sure to take a couple chomps first, of course). BEST SPAGHETTI OF MY LIFE!

I 100% recommend anyone stop by if you're in town. The service was fantastic, the selection is so wide, even before expanding to the meats! They're awesome, check em out! 5...
