Our tour guide David was wonderful. Not only does he look like a young George Clooney, but his knowledge of the history of Downtown Eureka Springs was informative and entertaining. You can tell this guide really has a passion for what he's doing for the community. He had a larger audience than I think he's used to for the tour I was on, and he still gave the best presentation. He also talked to people before the tour about their time frame and was willing to accommodate a commentary and experience that would suit all the needs of the group involved. He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions anyone could throw at him. I think he would benefit from a microphone set so he isn't straining himself so much to give a good presentation to the people he is showing the town but that still didn't take away from the experience. It's wonderful that you have people that genuinely care about the history in town and it was great to learn about things to...

If you enjoy your vacations with a side of history I highly recommend taking the Underground Eureka tour. This is by far one of the best walking tours I have ever done, David was a fantastic guide who wove the town's history through an entertaining 90-minute walk around town and into the underground of the former bathhouse. The tour was a full timeline of the town's history and I left feeling more connected to this amazing part of our country. While there are many steps involved, 90% are downhill so it's very manageable if you have no mobility issues. Spoiler alert... if you do not like stairs do not come to Eureka Springs, it's built on the side of a hill, so If you come here you will encounter stairs everywhere you go. Overall. a truly must-do while...

The tour was awesome! The name "Underground Tour" is misleading as most of the tour happened above ground and we just learned about the underground.

Our tour guide was Hayden and he was very informative with all sorts of history and current trends of Eureka Springs. We learned all about how Eureka got started and the different iterations it went through to become the historical town it is today. All the information was fascinating.

Prior to our trip I made a list of things I needed to find around town. Doing this tour I had crossed off 3/4 my list. We really got to see a lot of the town and I found some cool art along the way. This was the first thing we did in Eureka Springs and I am really glad we got...

Our tour was called "Downtown-n-Underground" which is a better description than just "Underground". It took about 75 minutes and we started at Basin Spring Park with a history of how things started, went below ground to where buildings were centered prior to moving upward due to mudslides, then traversed the main business street really from one end to the other (Spring St) with architectural history, stories about buildings, stories about the town at various points in time, and another spring at the far end. You finish about 3 blocks from where you start - a gradual uphill. Megan was great; didn't need a script; answered all questions and ensured everyone could see everything. Great intro to Eureka Springs.

This isn’t underground. Colby was very knowledgeable and a source of great background information about the town and its history. Many in the group were quite disappointed that it’s primarily an above ground walking history tour. Had it been marketed as such, it would have been fine but it certainly seems misleading. You’ll need to be able to walk hills and be in decent shape.
