Doc's Guns & Ammo — Local services in Eureka

I have been buying guns from docs for years and have never had issues with customer service, until this evening. I arrived approximately 45 minutes prior to closing. Upon entering the store there were 3 visible employees working and 4 customers. I recently purchased a Glock 42 and was having problems getting a pin out so as to install an extended slide release. 2 of the employees working were donning Glock shirts which would lead one to believe that the employees wearing the Glock shirts would be experienced with the inner workings of a Glock. This was not the case. In the last month alone I have spent over $1000 at docs guns and ammo only to be told that they were closing in 45 minutes and I needed to leave the gun and they would get around to it when they could. ( If the Glock shirts they were wearing were any Indication of their knowledge of Glock firearms, it would have taken one of them less than a minute to remove the pin.). I have had 45 minutes to cool off concerning this matter and still I am writing a poor review. I encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere when purchasing firearms and I will strongly encourage my AMVETS Brothers and Sisters to take their business...

Well what can you say? It's a gun shop, I'm a gun guy and so I feel at home there. Tim is awesome to deal with, he is fair and knowledgeable. I have bought a lot of gun from Tim over the last few years and his service is by far better than what you'll get at the big box store. I Crossfire CCW and I send every client I have his way. I know he will treat them with the respect they deserve. I have seen way to many so called gun guy treat my client and theirs like crap because they are new to gun or don't know the terms. Tim shares my views ft everyone has to start somewhere, and I want them to start off right and that why I use and send all my clients to Doc's. With Tim you deal with him or one of his hand picked employees. Fairs prices, great products with equally greg service...

I live in St Louis but traveled to Washington MO with my mom for a thing. She offered to help me buy my first gun so we googled some places nearby and decided on this place. Going in we were pretty intimidated because we knew nothing about firearms nor did we even know what we wanted to buy and we were in an unfamiliar part of Missouri. The guys behind the desk were BEYOND patient and helpful. I wish I would’ve asked for their names. They answered all of our questions and helped us narrow down our options to what we needed. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Even though they’re an hour away, I’d consider driving back there for my next firearm. Seriously...
