Evans Imaging LLC — Local services in Evans

I had an ultra sound and ended up with two bills. One from Evans Imaging and one from Brown Radiology. I called several times to find out more information about the ultra sound. When I went to my appt with the surgeon, he said they can't read the ultrasounds because they are not on a computer system. I had to go there to get a CD of the ultrasound that I can't read without an external hard drive. Also, I am not the doctor, so why should I be trying to track this down and read the ultrasound myself. It would be nice if you get an ultrasound to have it pulled up when you go meet with a surgeon. After calling Evans Imaging and Brown Radiology several times, the surgeon called me to tell me the Radiologist could not give me any more information because they only get paid once to read the ultrasounds. I started paying both bills after the surgeon finally called me back. The bill for Brown Radiology went through with my Ameriflex card but it didn't go through for Evans Imaging. Instead of giving me a call to let me know the card didn't go through, they turned it over to a collections agency. A little ridiculous when I am sure they could see that I was trying to pay the bill. Well, it is paid now, but I won't be using them again. I don’t have health insurance I am self-pay, I always ask how much will this procedure cost so I can prepare to pay for it, I was told my procedure would be $350 , I ask if I can go ahead and pay now they said no we will bill you, sure enough I got a bill for $350 and another for around $250 wasn’t happy but I paid them , then I received two more bills from brown radiology for more than $1300 and another one for more than $500 so I called and told them I paid my bill what is this bill for they said this bill was for use of their facilities , so be very very cautious if you were self-pay on your hospital and doctor bills they will absolutely rip you off and gave me no choice but to pay close to $1500 for a $350 procedure scam scam scam, I bet they don’t rob the insurance company’s like that but then again they probably do that’s why health insurance is...

I had an X Ray's years ago at this place, but never left an review. Now I had another X Ray on my lower back & today an MRI with contrast. The ladies at the front desk been very nice & helpful, even with me changing my appointment. Also the MRI Technician (I believe his name was Sandy) been extremely nice & helpful. It is very uncomfortable for me to lay on my back because of my medical condition. Sandy made it very compfy for me, with lots of support under my legs. I had plenty of MRI's before, but he has been the first technician who talked me through it from the first minute to the last. He let me know each phase, & how many minutes it will be.
