This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I have been to cozys many times and enjoyed it, however tonight the server was beyond awful. First, she would completely ignore my friend and I for the first 20 minutes that we sat there, she even brought out water to every other group and just looked at us and didnt give us any. We had no plates, and no water until we had to ask after being there for 30 minutes. We ordered our food, everything was fine, except she never gave us the thai tea that we ordered even after asking for it. The worst part was, She STOLE $10 from me. When we went up to pay with her at the register, I gave her my card and she told me verbally that the bill was $58 without letting me see the receipt, and she asked how much I wanted to tip. I told her 18% was fine, and she ended up charging me $68 total. Fine, except for the fact that we only ordered 3 entrees which would come out to around $48 with tax included. Basically, the cozys menu says that 18% gratuity is already included in the bill, which was obviously already included but she did not tell me that, and asked me again for extra gratuity. Honestly, I wouldn't have been so upset about it if she hadn't have given us the worst service I had ever had. She told me that the machine "wasn't working" so I didn't have to sign for anything, and when I asked for the receipt she straight up told us no. She clearly did not want us to see that she had double charged us for the gratuity. This is just a terrible business practice and I think they should be shut down if this is the way the...

I got to the restaurant with my plus one at 7:30. There was one other person in the restaurant. We were sat down by a middle-aged woman with black hair and she prompty asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't been given a literal minute to look over the menu. I told her no and she then explains that the restaurant would be closing in 30 minutes; although the website and Google state 8:45 PM. I said okay and to come back in 5 minutes. She returns and we place our order. Shortly after she returns with the food. 40 minutes later, she never returns. We finished eating 20 or so minutes after getting our food, recalling they were closing at 8 PM. I can hear her around the corner talking to someone, so I turn the corner to find her on FaceTime. I ask for the check and she states that she will bring it to the table. Ten minutes later, she is still on FaceTime but does not bring the check. At this point I have gone from slightly aggravated to annoyed. I walk over and ask for the check and she says that I can pay at the terminal. Why tell me that you will bring the check over if I can pay at the counter? I ask for the itemized copy of the receipt, given all I can see is a total. I pay and ask for a to-go container.
I will not return given the treatment from the one and only staff seen with an empty restaurant and I would advise you to avoid dining in...
Read moreThe food is decent if a bit overly sweet. The portions are generous for a single meal (don't expect leftovers though) but the price is a bit high for what you get. It would get 3 stars except that they did not treat our family of 4 with 2 pleasant small children (a 3.5yr and a 6mo). At 6:30 pm on a Saturday, they made us wait 20 minutes to be seated while staring at empty tables in their side room (which was not completely empty or being reserved for an event) and then placed us in the loudest and busiest section of the restaurant while complaining about our stroller. Once we were seated, things went reasonably well but after we had finished eating, it took excessively long to get the check (which is problematic when you have kids beginning to get restless). I used to wait tables in a Chinese restaurant. I understand how staff scheduling and sections work. I can also understand that despite the liberal use of toys as decor, that a college town restaurant such as this isn't primary focused on catering to families. But, I also know that families with small children can be seen to with relatively few accommodations. That all said, they treated us as an imposition and not as welcome guests and the food is no where near good enough to justify another...
