If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve been treated better at Ritz-Carltons across the globe than I was at Molly’s Consignment Shop. I shop at high-end stores all the time and decided to give this place a try — and deeply regret it.

The short, dark-haired woman working was rude, condescending, and downright unprofessional. The kids with me were behaving like normal kids — one picked up a small item (maybe $20), and she yelled across the store, “Careful! That’s rather expensive!” First of all, if you think $20 is high-end merchandise, maybe don’t throw it in a consignment shop — and maybe don’t scream at customers, especially children.

Then the kids hugged each other, and she snapped, “No violence in the store.” I was stunned. A hug is not violence. Her tone, her attitude, and her treatment of us were completely out of line.

I’ve never encountered someone in retail so unnecessarily harsh and degrading — especially over such innocent behavior. No greeting. No warmth. Just power-tripping and judgment. If this woman is the standard for customer service here, then the owner needs to seriously rethink their staffing.

I will never return, and I’ll be telling others to stay far away. There are plenty of shops that understand how to treat customers with respect — this is not...

First and LAST time in this store. Dark hair lady was extremely discourteous with acrimony. The blonde wasnt any better. I took in a box of Talbots, Chicos, Ralph Lauren and many more name brands only to be completely insulted and degraded. Carrying the box from my suv the old skinny dark hair lady rushed to the door and said, “we dont take clothes like that”, “they must be on hangers”, and shut the door! I had a bag of hangers with me! I was told again in a rude elevated voice with disgust, “Clothes must be on hangers not folded, clean and pressed!” Most were straight from the dry cleaners and folded. I was asked in the rudest way possible if I had ever consigned, insinuating I didnt know what I was doing. Dark hair lady gave a pair of brand new clark shoes a spit bath right in front of me! The ladies were so rude I left without selling anything to them even after they found some items they wanted. I will sell elsewhere, where i am treated with more respect and I will pass on my experience there to everyone I come in contact with. Great advertisement! Next store I went took 95% of my things and couldn’t believe how I was treated! Shame...

My 14yr old granddaughter & two of her friends visited Molly's on Saturday 5-10-25 around 3om as it was time to shop for a dress or two for 8th grade graduation & 8th grade dance. Was warmly greeted by a sales associate & she asked what we were looking for & took us to that location. She told us if we have any questions to let her know & shed be glad to help. We shopped for a bit without being hassled & felt no pressure at all as we took our time. A great experience as we had just left Ana Le's Twice Chosen, may have misspelled, where we were being hurried & hassled the entire time we were there. Felt pressured so we just left & found Molly's Upscale Consignment Boutique which was a fabulous experience & will return when my other three granddaughters are ready for dresses soon.
