This place has the best burger in Evansville. Fresh, flavorfull, and huge!!!!! We love this place. Workers are always smiling, super friendly and kind! Last week we placed a pick up order. Got there, picked up the order, we ate the amazing fries on the way home (dare ya not to), got home and realized we got the wrong pick up order as the sandwiches were bbq. We called, they said no problem we will fix it for ya when you come in next. So we made it back today for the correct order (bbq burgers were good --- sorry to the person who order we got) but we were hankering for a cheesey burger that ran through the garden. They did as they said. no problem, gave them my name and previous order info, they confirmed the concern and we just had the most amazing burgers and fries!!!!! As always. They're the best!!!! Love all the veggies on the burger, so fresh. And of course we ate the fries on the way home .... Get Cajun style, you won't regret it!!!! Hands down they never disappoint. The staff is fantastic. And the food is always on point! Sorry...
Read moreStopped in at five guys in E'ville finally. Overall the experience was good. I forgot how greasy it all was. I need to go hibernate. The bacon cheeseburger with all the toppings was the best tasting burger I've had in town. It fell apart all over me and dripped all over me, but it was tasty. It came wrapped in a softball sized tinfoil ball. The bun needs a little more heft to it. The fries were ok, I would have really liked them if they had kept them in the fryer a little longer and got them crispy. Good flavor though, and they always give you a ridiculous portion of fries. One order of fries could sate 3 adults. Fountain drinks seemed to taste better than some other places. Not sure why. The facility was clean and the staff was moving along well. It was fairly busy a little after noon. Not a huge fan of the price (almost 20 bucks for a burger, small fries and a drink) but that's where things seem to...
Read moreYes, it's rather pricy for a burger and fries but you truly get what you pay for. You also get consistency. I've had Five Guys food in multiple states and from stand alone locations to inside of airports. It always tastes the same and it's always good. And yes, it can get messy but I've found excess mess/grease can come from the toppings you choose. For example, I like grilled mushrooms and onions on my burger with mustard and ketchup, too. Pal, I defy you make that anywhere and not need to wash your hands afterwards!
Anyway, easily in my top 3 of fast food-type burgers. Think if this as the "anti-McDonald's".
Clean location and nice...
