I made a decision to change the setting of my engagement ring. I took my ring to Tuggle Design in Evergreen, CO and they did exactly what I wanted! However, months go by and my decision to change it ended up being a bad choice. Because they did such a great job the first time, I knew I’d want them to change the ring back to the way it was. When I walked in their store, I was greeted (and she even remembered me!) by Lauren and her associate even though months had passed since we had seen each other! I explained to Lauren that I had made the wrong decision with the change I chose and told her that even though I didn’t care for the original setting, I wanted to go back to that style. She took my ring and showed it to her husband (the master jeweler) who informed her that he would gladly make the change, they would order the piece and it could be done the next week. Since Lauren knew I wasn’t thrilled about the style of the setting I was going back to, she used her initiative and design eye and ordered a more artistic setting as well as the basic setting that I had originally. The next week when I showed up for the work to be done, she showed me the original setting style and then the second surprise style! I would have never thought of the artistic option, but it is what I chose and I am so thrilled with the outcome! In addition, they only charged me the cost of the setting, no fee for the workmanship, which was completely unexpected and so much appreciated!

I found Tuggle Designs through social media after scouring the internet for some intricate design my fiance came up with, and coming up short. I submitted a custom design application thinking they’d surely laugh it off. Within a day I got a reply from Lauren who loved the idea, said it was right up their alley, and was committed to make it come to life. Within 2 or 3 minor design changes, they absolutely nailed my vision. After finalizing the design the ring was completed in a few weeks and shipped to me. Upon receiving it, I was absolutely in love with how amazing it looked. The ring looks 100x better than anything I could’ve imagined. My fiance is floored that his vision was able to come to life, on top of the fact that it fits like a GLOVE. I forgot to mention, we live in WA while they are in CO. Based off of a short video with a cheap amazon ring sizer they were able to size the ring perfectly on the first shot. The turnaround time from initial email to receiving the ring was about 3.5 months which is absolutely amazing for a custom engraved ring. Not to mention their pricing is extremely fair. Their communication, knowledge, and expertise made this experience absolutely incredible, especially considering we have never been able to meet up in person. Working with this crazy talented couple was an absolute joy from start to finish. My fiance and I were in search of timeless, sturdy jewelry for our engagement and wedding rings and we were not finding what we wanted in either cookie cutter jewelry stores or on the vintage market, so when we chanced upon Lauren and Matt, we reached out. We are so happy we did!

The process was a joy. Their communication throughout the process was timely, helpful, and personable. I received several drafted designs for an engagement ring based on my preferences, lifestyle, concerns, and personal style, and Lauren worked with me to choose and customize it from top to bottom. We discussed metal purity, stone types, ring styles, gemstone cuts, settings, and so much more. She is a wealth of information in her craft and answered every question I had and then some. We wound up settled on a sturdy, beautiful, art-deco design that I am so, so, SO in love with, and is even more breathtaking in person than pictures could ever express.

It is so amazing to wear a literal work of art on a daily basis. I am thrilled to have a lifelong piece that is so unique and so timeless, and I’m beyond grateful to have found such wonderful people to bring it to life.
