My wife and I wanted to have a dinner before seeing a show at 7:30. We arrive at this restaurant around 6 pm. I'm not really sure what was going on when I came in on Tuesday night...
-We were seated quickly.
-Then we got chips.
-Then no drink order or server greeting us for 25 minutes. I was hoping for some cold water with the chips and salsa. Or napkins. Nope.
-4 different servers looked at us and then rushed past. It was like nobody knew whose table we were or didn't want to deal with us.
-Eventually had to ask a random server who was trying to sprint past for someone to take our order. He seemed annoyed or confused about it.
-I ordered drinks and then insisted we order food with him since we had a 7:30 play to get to.
-Finally waters come, without straws.
-10 more minutes to get our mixed drinks. Still have to go out of our way to ask for straws. I ask another server to bring us napkins. Every server who I asked, forgot to bring anything.
-Every time someone brings us something, they try to run away, no lie, before we can ask for something. they were all running around the store, it was quite obnoxious and distracting.
-Multiple servers asked if we had been helped, we responded no and then never saw them again. Our server finally comes back to ask if we want more chips, which we never received.
-He apologizes about the food wait. I wasn't sure if I was more put off by the terrible service or the 45+ min wait for the food. So after getting our food, we have about 5 minutes to eat or we miss our play. This means we also can't take leftovers to our car.
-And of course, the food comes out wrong. The reason this happened is because our server didn't write down our order on a notepad, he tried to just remember it. And it came out wrong. Big surprise.
-We were charged more than what we ordered. I didn't have time to figure it out and ask because we would miss our play. Wasn't going to sweat 5 bucks.
-But still never got our silverware until the food came out, after we asked again for silverware/napkins. The third time is the charm.
-No drink refills. I would've ordered more alcohol if someone cared to ever return to the table.
Horrible service, horrible kitchen. The food was pretty good and they had great prices but everything overshadowed by the terrible service including not being greeted for 25 mins, no drinks until 35 mins in, food after 45-50 mins, no napkins, no straws, no server, no anything. Read moreHORRIBLE MANAGER! Just moved back to Evergreen and decided to try some of the old haunts. Went here last night picked up a Chicken Quesadilla and a burrito. The quesadilla tasted weird like kind of sour. I called today to order some Pineapple Chili wings and mentioned the quesadilla. Right away she was all like if you have a problem you can complain that day only. I said I'm not trying to get anything free I just wanted you to know. She thanked me for letting her know. I picked up the wings and got home and they had ZERO taste of pineapple so I remembered what she said and I called to ask if they also had regular chicken wings because these tasted NOTHING LIKE PINEAPPLE you know the name of the wings. "Pineapple Chili Wings" The girl that was on the phone told me they were out of the sauce for the pineapple wings so apparently I got just normal wings. I told her she should have told me this since I wasn't eating what I ORDERED! She rudely tells me I can drive back for a refund. Really I'm supposed to drive 15 miles back to your restaurant because I didn't get what I ordered? Wow! I asked to speak with the manager and a man claiming to be a manager named Andrea's tells me that she doesn't know what she's talking about then hands the phone back to her which just ended up with another " Just bring them back for a refund! Gimme a break! If your restaurant is hurting that bad that you have to argue with a dissatisfied customer over $12 then you obviously don't have any real management skills WHATSOEVER! I tried to talk I got rude nonsense and got lied to. There are plenty of other places to eat where rude people don't dominate the culture in the restaurant. I have 42 years of restaurant experience under my belt and this ranks as one of the worst experiences of my life! We all work hard for our money and when we dine out we expect to get friendly service a smile and some customer retention skills should things go wrong. I will share this experience with all of my customers when they ask for recommendations and tell them to go to another restaurant. I also drive for Uber and Lyft part time and will share this experience with my riders. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool me Andrea's! Do better next time! I personally won't ever go back to your establishment! I make wings better than yours. I will make my own recipe for pineapple chili wings and mine will taste of pineapple not be dowsed in nothing but Chulula or whatever you served me!...
Read moreI hate to leave this review but feel it's necessary for the owners to know. I've always had good service and food when going here as it's fairly close to home. But on July 2nd I was there and had probably the worst experience I've ever had. Like I said, its probably a one off, but I need to leave this for clarity reasons. After waiting almost 45 minutes to get seated, it took another 15 to 20 minutes for our server to even show up at our table. I understand being busy, but its not a reason for bad service. After our server finally showed up, she took our drink and food order. It took another 20 minutes to get our drinks and almost another 45 minutes to get our food. When our food finally arrived it was cold. We was gonna say something, but after being ignored by our waitress again, we decided to at least try and eat. My girlfriends carnitas tacos were covered in a thick layer of cold grease and well, the food overall wasn't very good. In fact, my girlfriend actually got sick when we got home. By the time our server returned to our table we had been there for 2 hours or more, so we just asked for our check so we could go. Like I said at the beginning, I've had pretty good luck before they moved to the new location and I seriously doubt I'll be willing to go back. If not for the fact that my girlfriend spent half the night throwing up, I probably wouldn't have left this review. All in all, I hope you correct issues like this as good mexican food is hard to find...
