In every area, this hardware store is outstanding. All the staff (cashiers, floor personnel, store manager) are engaged, truly happy to help and be there in the first place, and aren’t done until the customer has exactly what is needed. And that goal isn’t simply pointing you at the requested item and moving on, it is directing their complete attention to each and every customer.

The store may seem small at first, but as a maintenance person, I see depth in all the right areas, and very broad in scope. Without question, this is my go-to hardware store, especially when time is tight and I have to make the right call about who will have it. This store does and will have the hardware I need. I should also add that in my experience, Ace-branded merchandise, though sometimes more expensive, is superior to on-line or big box offerings. In a word, you get what you paid for.

Came in today to purchase a MS271 Stihl Chainsaw. The startup process was not done in my presence as I’ve confirmed with Stihl it is required by authorized dealers. The person before me had their saw prepped out back and started in front of them out front. I was denied this option and was told “The saw sounds great!” implying that the customer service representative had started the saw at some point. Meanwhile the saw shows no evidence of being ran and does not start (I have a total of 7 chainsaws. This is not operator error.) When I called to speak to a manager I was told they heard 2 saws start at which would make sense since the person before me had theirs started twice. I have filed a complaint with Stihl letting them know that ACE falsified the startup documents and reported the purchase as fraud to my credit card. Make your purchases elsewhere where they actually follow the required steps. Luckily my CC was able to stop the purchase and I won't be paying for this...

I have never been so pleased with a local hardware store in all of my life. They are always so happy to help me and fix any issues that I might have, not only that but the staff is knowledgeable on their products, a change from my experience with the big box stores.
