You'll want to read my review and the most recent as well before supporting this business. The manager cussed us out because we pointed out how rude he was being to us, customers, and the staff (later found out this was the owner, he looked completely unsanitary w/ a dirty af apron). He was so incredibly rude to us and this sweet girl who was trying to do her best in the front (reddish hair). This manager or person in charge was a large guy who didn't forget to say F U to us after we waited for 10min patiently with no attitude for our food. We were even patient in ordering, but you cut us off and had an attitude bc you couldn't understand what we said. Be an example for your employees. I have never had such horrible service. I feel sorry for anyone that works under you. This is my partners childhood bagelry and you've run it to the ground. You were rude to the guy in front of us who wanted a dozen sesame seeds and a plastic bag, you gave him paper and forgot about his pre-bagged bagels to where he asked "should I grab these myself". You said so rudely when we walked up "ahhh the last customers", scorned your employee to do something, and instigated an argument. This place deserves no stars. No amount of low staff should make you be rude and cuss at customers then refuse to serve them because they were dissatisfied with your attitude. Be professional if you're going to lead a team. No amount of understaffing should make you forget that you need to buck up and deal with the matter at hand. That's what...

Went here for the first time today while visiting Evergreen. Very expensive and they didn't get the order correct. I ordered "Bacon and Egg on Sesame with a smear of cream cheese on the side". So logic would mean, that's all I wanted to be on the bagel. Instead I got, "bacon, egg, chives, and American cheese on sesame". Please tell me how the latter meets what I specifically asked for. I also wanted a coke, which all they had was glass bottled cokes, which didn't work for me, but already had paid for. Instead I went with an energy drink. Which I had to then pay for on top of everything else.

Grand total over $20 for a bagel sandwich (which was incorrect), smear of cream cheese, a coke that I paid for but didn't take, an energy drink. So much for supporting local. I mean that's ridiculous, $20 for something prepared wrong, an item I didn't even take with me, and an energy drink they should have just said, don't worry about it since you already paid for the coke you won't be taking. I think what people at places like this need to start doing when people order is to confirm if they want the other ingredients that are auto included with the order. If they would have said, "our breakfast sandwiches come with chives, and American cheese as well, do you want those items to be removed" I would have said, yes please, I do not want those items included on my sandwich. But that...

Service is terrible!! They single out the people that they know and are nice to them; however if they do not recognize you or not frequent enough, it is quite apparent that they could care less about you and are more than rude. And if it is an busy morning, you are only made to feel like you are a 'bother' to the staff - god for bid if you have a large order, than the rolling of the eyes and sighing could not be more apparent. I have given them plenty of chances, hoping that I had only caught someone on their bad day(s) - but I have given up. Not only is the service far less than acceptable, they have gotten my order wrong 3 times out of 6, really??!! It's a freaking bagle - how difficult can it be? They need to LISTEN to their customers, even if they don't know their name! It is not a gormet restaurant, it's bread and toppings. And self serve coffee, which I am sure they will find a way to mess...

All good things come to an end and unfortunately the bagelry is no different. The overgrowth of businesses has depleted the employee pool. Every business is competing for the same employees. The Evergreen Bagelry has seriously suffered from this and now staffs the lowest of low. The service isn't the worst part however. This has become one of the most unsanitary eateries in town. Tables are rarely cleaned throuhout the day and speculation would say end of the day cleanings are sporadic. It used to be The Evergreen Bagel Shop was a place you had to go. It was a place you had to take out of towners to when they visited. Waiting in line was part of the experience. Now, this is no longer the case. Now it's a fading business that given its current path will be a fond memory in the not too distant future.

Super chill spot for homemade delicious bagels. Big Labowski/Grateful Dead vibe and great service with a smile! The rosemary bagel was tasty, lightly toasted, with a little bit of crunchy salt on top to compliment. The smoked trout was good, but a little on the salty side. There are plenty of veggie options, too. Awesome refreshing mushroom blend sodas. Live, love local, support small businesses!

Far from a bagel connoisseur but this was the best bagel (excluding east coast) I’ve ever had. Got blueberry with cream cheese. Chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. If you’re tired of having just okay bagels and want an actual good authentic bagel then you need to try this place. They also have such a cool atmosphere and super comfortable lounger chairs.
