AltaR'd Salon LLC — Local services in Fairborn

So I went in there on the 28th of June only to be greeted with rudeness. I walked in and waited about 10 mins for someone to acknowledge me only to be told they were too busy to talk to me. I was definitely bothering her it was very clear. I informed her that I was just wanting to purchase products. She said she would need to find the receptionist but came back later to tell me they quit. Again she told me she was too busy to help me but I wanted to know what the orange Kevin Murphy products were for and she said they just smell good that all I know and it’s good for colored hair.…well ok but aren’t they all good for colored hair?? I’ll just get what I came in for. Then I asked for information about the salon on how to make an appointment because I just moved here from Austin, Texas. She told me i needed to scan something with my phone and I told her I didn’t have my phone on me then she said “Owell.” WTH???? I love Kevin Murphy products and it’s the only place I know where to get them at this point…it’s unfortunate and if I were the salon owner I would tell the girl to take a hike …she was rude and did NOT want to be bothered!! Thanks...

I made an appointment for my mom and mother-in-law to get their hair done. This day was supposed to be a special day mainly because we have not seen our mother-in-law in YEARS.

Our mother-in-law came down for the week to visit us. She is from Virginia. I paid $372 total for both of our moms to get their hair done.

Bailey did our mom’s hair. She did amazing on my mother-in-laws hair, that is why we tipped her $62 but not so great on my mom’s hair.

We don’t want to bash Bailey at all. She is so sweet and understanding.

I will attach photos of how bad my mom hair turned out.

When my mom left, she still had chucks of gray in multiple areas of her head.

So the owner said they can fix it another day, but my mom is not comfortable going back to the same salon. So I requested a refund “only for my moms hair”

The ambience of the salon is stunning , 🤩 we just did not have the best experience with how my mom’s hair...

Holland Ramsey is hands down, THE BEST stylist I've ever found for my son's hair, and let me tell you, he's got some special circumstaces with Alopecia Areata and cowlicks galore! She does fabulous work and she is so patient and kind to him. He actually enjoys going to see her, because she's like a friend to him....and that says a lot with him being a moody 14 year old teen! Not only does she style men's hair, but she styles hair of women and the littlest kiddos too! She's got a very family friendly salon and she's affordable. We love her so much, we followed her when she moved to AltaR'd, behind the Texas Roadhouse on Colonel Glenn!
