Ideal Beauty Supply and Suites — Local services in Fairburn

I found out about this black owned beauty supply store last year! Great customer service and although the selection of items are limited versus a bigger beauty supply store I typically find most of what I need. I arrived today a little after 3 PM to pick up some braiding hair and they were closed although their operating hours displayed on the door and google says that they are opened 12pm-5pm on Sundays. I will try again tomorrow and hope that they are open this time.

Just a suggestion for owners: negative reviews are going to happen for businesses. In reality, you can’t satisfy everyone and that’s okay but it’s best to still address them in a more customer friendly way regardless of what they have said or just don’t respond at all. Always keep in mind potential new customers. I know for sure I read reviews for every business to know where to go to spend my money. Some of your responses to the negative reviews kinda made me want to shop elsewhere but I’m all for supporting my people. Imagine a new customers reading the reviews and then seeing...

Didn’t even get a chance to actually go inside. I arrived at 11:54 am on a Saturday. Their sign said they didn’t open until noon. I said cool I can wait 6 min no problem. At exactly 12:00 pm the owners roll up and I open my car door and ask “excuse me are you ready to open now or do you need a few minutes?” (In my mind, if you roll into work at the time you are supposed to open, there are other things you need to do like start systems up, etc.

The guy turns around and says “We are open” with a clear attitude. Now one thing about me, I will not beg to be mistreated or spend my money. I went to the other black owned beauty supply down the street to Maya Hair Boutique & Beauty supply in Tyrone and had a much better experience.

Yea… no. I do not recommend going or just don’t expect them to be...

This has to be the most unprofessional establishment. They open beyond late at 12 pm and even at 12pm they are still not open . I’ve tried to give them a chance for the 4th time , I pull up at 12:04 and what do I arrive to …. A CLOSED beauty store . Wont cone back ever again . It’s so hard to support our people . I also feel like they miss out on prime business from the beauty salon that is literally right next door to them . I’m almost sure the stylist would love to grab some last needed items for clients like I do but nooooooo they are...
