Okay so, I made an online purchase on April 21st for a iPhone 11 Pro Max and selected to pick the phone up in store. Now speaking with a representative I was told that I would be able to pick the phone up that same day. I was told I would receive a confirmation email when my order was ready. By the close of business that day I still hadn’t received said email. The next day I get on the phone with customer service and they proceed to tell me that the reason I hadn’t received the email was because of a courier issue. I wasn’t notified that this may be an issue so I said okay I’ll wait one more day to give them time to have my order available. Today, still no email and again I’m getting on the line with customer service after explaining the situation at least 6 times finally the rep says I’ll have to wait 13-15 additional business days. I said no this is unacceptable I have already ready waited 3 additional days to receive my purchase. The rep tells me I can go to another location that has the device in stock to pick it up, I reply okay and ask the rep does he (AT&T) need to send the location anything so they know that I have already paid and is in route. “No Sir” he says as long as they have it in stock you can get the phone. I arrive at the AT&T location only to find out my order has been canceled. Why I ask? They are unable to provide me with an answer. So they try to get me a phone with the same deal and after 4 HOURS and 3 applications & 3 calls to a service analyst they tell me that my down payment has increased over $350 more and that’s not what I was originally quoted. Now the employees at the location were doing everything they can but AT&T is just ridiculous. Now I HAVE TO CALL and try to get my original order reinstated. I arrived to the store around 5:15 PM; she posted a hand written sign on the door stating she'd be on lunch until 5:40 PM. No problem. My issue was after patiently waiting until 6:00 PM I was greeted by a stiff attitude and no enthusiasm. I attempted to upgrade my phone. She asked for my ID to verify the account. Before I even handed her my ID, she stated I wasn't the account holder after she looked up my number and said they needed to be present for the upgrade, which has never been an issue. I left and called the AT&T customer service line. I was told I was listed as an authorized user and the representative should have been able to assist.
