Hobby Lobby — Local services in Fairfield

So much stuff! Always something on sale. Beats Michael's hands down! I had resorted to shopping online only for craft items - until hobby lobby opened. I still shop online, but now have an instant gratification option as well. Great store, unfortunate name.

Update: still the best brick and mortar store for craft supplies. Especially t-shirts - $3 is all you'll ever pay for a Gildan brand tshirt up to 3XL. Color selection isn't too bad either - especially if you're buying for HTV creations.

There's always a sale too. Great markdowns of 40% and more. Half of the store is on sale one week and the following week the other half is marked down. And so it goes week after week...

Another update - can't say enough great things about this place. Heres the first negative thing I'll say: their epoxy prices are way too high. Even if I needed some right now, I'd have to order from Amazon and wait a day. They're charging more than double the prices you find on Amazon for...

We Love Hobby Lobby! It has something for everyone, young or old, men or women..It's hard to find something they don't have. It's also very hard to just run in and out with the "one" thing you needed. You can literally lose an afternoon here. The people that work there are pleasant and helpful. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because, I've been in several times now, there is always a line to checkout and it takes so long to checkout. If I only have two or three items I'm waiting such a long time that I change my mind and leave without what I wanted. Also, while I applaud Hobby lobby for having a good old fashioned fabric counter where they handwrite the tickets, it also takes a long time if there are others ahead with multiple cuts. This company or just this store is very deceptive with where the employees are told to place sale signs. As we stand there in front of their aisle sign discussing the deception, another shopper joins in on our talk, expressing her disappointment with Hobby Lobby practice. Unfortunately, not many employees who work here at Fairfield, CA branch are not helpful or friendly. Most of the employees here become more rude near closing, approaching you in an unfriendly manner and reporting where you are.
