Awesome place! Food is great, you know, all you expect from a good hamburger and mushrooms (my favorite ingredient). The associates there are good people, often do not really know how to be "talkative" but if you engage they engage in conversation as well. The place is on a kind of hidden side of the mall, on the food court area per say. Parking might get crowded as you get closer to the venues, but always (so far) not so much of a crowded location, so you find parking. Note: Be careful driving there, plenty of rushing people who need to go back to driving school. Also, they have a soda machine, confusing, I know. All I want is my cola soda, but it is not a classic soda fountain, so gets tricky. They have peanuts for you to eat while waiting - I love this feature. And love the mustard they serve. Bathrooms are kind of tricky, and only one person at a time, so if you have a large crowd with you, one of you has to wait a little bit more. It is clean. Though it has an small kitchen area that often looks crowded. But food and service is great... all that matters to me is that great tasty and flavory juicy with mustard...
Read moreUpdate: After a week we got a (missed) call from Five Guys customer service, they left a voice mail stating that we would get a full refund, which we indeed received shortly after. Because of this I've edited this review accordingly, even though off course the local experience at their Farfield location stands, at least they do follow-up on responses in a more than fair manner!
In short: bad food, uninterested staff, don’t get what you payed for = spend your money elsewhere!
Longer version: Ordered through Google, 4 burgers with fries and 2 shakes, my family all choose custom options for their bacon burgers. What did we get? 4 plain burgers with some random things on it (if you’re lucky) and my wife literally got a plain bun with a paddy on it, nothing else. We got 2 paper bags handed to us at pick-up and the second bag felt like it had our drinks, turns out that they you fries in drink cups.... We spent a total of $72 dollars on this mess and ended up with disappointed kids. Tried to contact them, twice, but you’ll get no response from their “24/7” service. Will definitely not...
Read moreFilthy grill cooktop, visible debris touching food. Saw one of the cooks scrape off debris from his spatula on the (very dirty, not heated) side of the grill rather than wipe down / clean. They were using meat that had been sitting out unchilled (some of it brown). Would recommend avoiding this location and going to another instead - haven’t seen a Five Guys this bad before. Service was not good either - nobody at register greeting folks, had to wait a few minutes for one of them to come over. They were not busy, just chatting. Watched them re-use a piece of meat that had been sitting out on the cooktop for a few minutes in another customer’s order. I’m hoping this was an anomaly, but they might benefit from a health dept / QC visit.
On the bright side, the Cajun fries were at least done well, and they were polite. Still, would recommend picking a different location - or a different chain if this is how things go at Five Guys nowadays. (This location used to be good, but the last couple times were...
