I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pikul Thai Bistro in Fairfield, CA, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located in a convenient shopping center with ample parking, this hidden gem offers so much more than just delicious Thai cuisine. The moment I stepped into Pikul Thai Bistro, I was immediately captivated by its inviting ambiance. The warm and cozy atmosphere, combined with tasteful decor, set the perfect tone for an enjoyable dining experience. The attention to detail was impressive, and it's clear that the owners take pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming space for their patrons. What truly set Pikul Thai Bistro apart, however, was the outstanding service provided by the team, led by the amazing manager, Namchai. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch. Their attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were commendable, and their recommendations were spot-on. I learned that Pikul Thai Bistro is a family-run business, and their hard work and dedication shine through in every aspect. It's inspiring to see such passion and commitment to creating an exceptional dining experience. The love and care they put into their restaurant are truly evident. Now, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of trying the roti and ice cream with fried bananas, and they were a revelation. The roti was perfectly flaky, and the ice cream was incredibly creamy and paired wonderfully with the warm, caramelized bananas. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it was evident that the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. I can confidently say that this was the finest Thai food I have ever tasted. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to support local businesses like Pikul Thai Bistro. They offer a level of authenticity and passion that is hard to find in larger establishments. By dining at Pikul Thai Bistro, you are not only treating yourself to an exceptional culinary experience but also supporting a dedicated local family. In conclusion, Pikul Thai Bistro in Fairfield, CA, deserves all the accolades it receives. From the convenient location and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and mouthwatering cuisine, it's a place that will leave a lasting impression. If you're a fan of Thai food or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, make sure to visit Pikul Thai Bistro. You won't be disappointed! Remember to make a reservation in advance, as this place is gaining popularity fast. Let's come together as a community and support this extraordinary local small business.

This place is pretty good. It came as a Google suggestion and I decided to give it a try. The wife loves thai food and usually gets green curry but opted for the pumpkin curry. I love drunken noodles and decided to get that. My 2 year old will generally eat any type of fried rice so I decided to go big and get the crab fried rice because I was curious and it is a signature dish. I got all this to go so I apologize for the pictures because I was lazy and didnt want to stage the dishes. I just had a quick taste of the pumpkin curry but it was flavorful and creamy like any other curry. Decent spice but nothing crazy. I cant really judge the dish definitively because I didnt do much more than a taste. The wife said it was good and would get it again. However, for the price, she would go to out usual thai spot. I had the drunken noodles and it did not disappoint. Spicier than I am used to but nothing crazy. The fresh chili was welcoming and the noodles were delicious. There was nothing special about the chicken and it didnt taste as if it was marinated in anything. The side salad that it came with had a small container of creamy dressing. Similar to the mayo based dressings you may find in some Japanese restaurants. I wasnt a fan of the salad or the dressing and found it kind of odd in my to go box. Also, the heat of the dish wilted some of the salad. Other than that, there are no complaints about the quality of the food. The crab fried rice was delicious but I would have appreciated larger chunks of crab. It wasnt lingering with a fishy taste and the other ingredients had a chance to shine through. The carrots were unexpected but the kid LOVES them so it was a plus. A little expensive but worth to try at least once.

The Pad Thai was good, I would give it a 8.5/10, with the chicken being slightly overcooked. The Pineapple Fried Rice was very good, I would give it a 9.3/10. Overall highly recommend the place, Pad Thai and Fried Rice were each $15. Lychee drink was fantastic with a fresh lychee taste, and it was $3.50.

Update four years later

I don't know what happened, although I suspect inflation and the lack of skilled workers, but the quality went way down hill.

Crispy chicken fried rice was not crispy. It was not cut up chicken like before. The chicken pieces were uniform ovals and the (not) crispy skin was loose and flabby. Most importantly, there was no flavor. The fried rice was not a mound of fluffy egg fried rice, it was mushy. I could not eat it.

As seen in my original review, that was my favorite dish and now I will not order from them anymore. Especially when I paid over $100 for just three people.

Very good food. I especially like the fried rice and fried chicken. The crab fried rice is very good, as well, as is the ginger chicken. I usually get quite a bit of fried rice with the chicken, but this time, it was about half as much, otherwise it would have been a 5. This is a "go to" place.

Update: What ever the problem was, it was fixed! 5 stars is for real. They consistently outdo almost every other...
