I came in to Dillards today looking for a pretty pair of pajamas to wear this week for pajama day at the office. I had already tried other stores where nothing got right so when I came in, I was feeling fat and defeated, and really discouraged. A very nice lady directed me to the lingerie department where plus size clothing wasnât separated from everything else, and I felt included. Wanda was the well groomed classy customer service lady at the desk. She greeted me with a smile and asked if thereâs anything that I need or she could help me with. I told her what I needed and Wanda served me like I was royalty. I came from shopping at another department store where I wasnât greeted or regarded with attention and was even told that the pajamas I was holding to try on wouldnât fit me, and I really should look somewhere else and they pointed across the store to another area with plus size pajamas-which turned out to be just a little square area in the middle of a bunch of tiny sizes with all of three or four choices and pajamas that didnât really go up to the plus size I needed. I left so downtrodden and was originally walking all the way across the mall to another specific pajama shop, which was no longer there when I reached the location it was supposed to be and thatâs what I saw Dillards and thought I would take a look. Contrary to the treatment I just experienced at the other department store, Wanda not only greeted me, but she also showed me to a fitting room explaining that if I needed help all I needed to do was push the button in the dressing room. I tried on the one pajamas said I found, and after finding that they didnât fit and re-dressing there was a knock on the door-it was Wanda with pretty pink pajamas in my exact size with a different size for the bottom and different size for the top. It made me feel so special that she was working for me when I didnât even know it. The pajamas fit perfectly. They were exactly what I wanted and I was ready to go make my purchase and just as I was re-dressing was another knock on the door, and it was Wanda with yet more choices in case the first ones didnât work which they did perfectly. She went above and beyond. I got emotional and very embarrassingly, I started to cry because she made me feel so special when I walked in feeling so miserable.    Read moreMy four friends and I went prom dress shopping here and while there we kept being watched like we were going to steal something. A friend in the group is a middle eastern male who was in the dressing room with us helping us pick stuff out. Not in the actual room with us, just in the hallway so we could show him stuff. The two women at the customer service counter kept watching us and looking into the dressing room. Finally another friend had gone out and came back in saying that security was there. They never talked to us but eventually we decided to leave because we were very uncomfortable and he followed us out. If there had been complaints about us or we were being disruptive then fine we would have been happy to leave, we don't want to cause trouble, but the fact that they kept watching us and had security follow us out when none of us even had a bag to steal anything! I had the full intention of purchasing a business dress and a friend was going to buy something but after this I feel uncomfortable ever coming back to the store especially a chain with such a large history of...

When he arrived home after 2 weeks I went to Dillard's & try to return for him or exchange for another one ..we had original receipt all tags under 30days etc..Dillard's didn't want to have nothing to do to help..The lady was rude keep telling me if he already used once and something happened with the carry-on he is on his own..Dillards clear their hands etc..we had the receipt they said you have to deal with manufacturer..$250đ he liked it and he bought it..people do not purchase any traveling merchandises from Dillard's if something happened in the process of you traveling with their merchandise Dillard's will not give you your money back/ exchange nor trying to help..you on your own go to TJ Maxx or Macy's customer service much better never will my son purchase or I anything from Dillard's with their policy that day of that rude customer service I receive will never shop again love Macy's...
